While Foxsports.com is reporting that the Braves and Rangers have a deal in place for Mark Teixeira, a major league source said a short time ago that chances were ?pretty good? that the Red Sox would complete a deal with the Chicago White Sox for outfielder Jermaine Dye.

In exchange for Dye, the White Sox would get Wily Mo Pena and one of either minor league pitcher Justin Masterson or Sox reliever Manny Delcarmen.

sheesh...don't the Bosox have enough at the plate already?

If Schilling gets healthy for the playoffs then the Sox are going to be a team to be reckoned with.

I can't find any current lines for Bosox Series or Pennant; I hate tying up my money for 3 months but I think that a +500 might tempt me.

I think that maybe only the Tigers would have a shot against them in the AL.
Mets-Bosox Series seems quite possible.
I'd have to take the Sox there, though Hernandez-Maine-Perez might match up well with Beckett-Schilling-Matsuzaka.
