Slow down patting yourself on the back about your plays last week Jalen45,you said that the EASIEST PLAY of the WHOLE PLAYOFFS was GB ML vs Phila.Keep your feet on the ground,if you hate a team like you hate the Eagles you're gonna fall and soon.The salient point in this game is that the Eagles did not cover and yet won outright to play a team thats won two playoff games in a row.Phila-4 will cover and go to the next round.
me thinks carolina is playing the best football as we speak and wiill be in the sbowl..points are bonus in this game!!
I'm an Eagles fan, and I won't bet against them. Juu has a good point though, this team likes to win by a point, or 3. Will they even win? I don't know. :shrug:
I do think experience will play a factor in this one. I mean, come on, we've been in this game the last two years in a row for crying out loud!!!!
Seriously though, don't discount the psychological angle in this one. Carolina, no matter what they say, has to be elated just to be in this game, whereas the Eagles are thinking the season's a failure if they don't win this game. That fact alone allows preparation for a game like this a lot easier. It's business as usual for the Birds this week, where the Panthers have to deal with a lot of things they normally never have to deal with and are dealing with them for the first time. It's a distraction. They could step to the plate and hit the homerun, and the points still might be a good bet. We'll find out soon enough.

Carolina is very tempting. If McNabb can play a solid 60 minutes, they cover. He stated so slowly against the Pack, throwing the ball in the dirt (1-6), fumbling, sacks etc it spotted too many points versus the spread. But if Donovan plays like he did in the 2nd half, then forget it.

Asking the Eagles to win a game by more than a FG right now is like asking BeantownJim to STFU. Not likely to happen. I'll take the points with the team playing better football right now. Panthers also have more playmakers, period. Eagles are lucky to be there. The Eagles will begin to look even more like the Bills if they don't win this game. Should be fun this weekend

I had McNabb (ov18.5 completions). Was dying in the first half with all those dirt-balls.
Praying he starts like he finished that game against GB. Haven't seen the prop for McNabb completions this week, but I'm pretty sure I'd take over again. They'll throw the ball 30x's+ in this game, i'm thinking.
