According to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, the Eagles and Browns have set the framework for a potential trade involving the No. 2 pick.

Per Marvez, the Eagles would give up first and third round picks in 2016 and 2017. The Eagles are reportedly enamored with North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz and they'll probably have to trade up to No. 2 to get him. Then again, the Eagles have also shown keen interest in Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott, who they might be able to grab at No. 8. If the two sides can't reach an agreement, the Eagles could try trading up to No. 3. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that the Chargers are shopping their pick.

we shouldn`t think of this as a browns` coup just yet.....I saw posted elsewhere a reference to the 2011 blockbuster deal with Atlanta(I believe Atlanta wanted Julio jones)....the browns turned those picks into greg little, phil taylor , running back Owen Marecic, qb Brandon Weeden and then they used the fourth to move up in 2012 for running back Trent Richardson........(sorry addict....just citing past history)

the browns` m.o. seems to be that when someone is punching you in the face, the solution is to smash your own dick with a hammer...

Btw now that we know the fist 2 picks, the Chargers are now on the clock....

Will some team make an offer for SD's pick?

Paxton Lynch is now a hot item!!

The Eagles brass should get blasted. They could have traded a player away rather than #1 pick in 2017. IF Eagles finish in bottom 5-10 in standings next season, they would have another top pick.

These 2 QBs are ranked lower than most draft guru's lists yet they are going to go #1 & #2? Too much love for how Luck has done with the Colts and Newton's done with the Panthers, did they ever think back that Russell Wilson was a 4th rounder?

Eagles need line help, Tunsil probably wouldn't fall to #8, but as I state this, Eagles could be toying with other teams to move into their slot and in turn the Eagles could get who they want like Elliott or Tunsil or Bosa and possibly pick up another high pick in this year's draft or next year's.

I don't like Howie Roseman anyway. He's in way over his head.

It's going to be an interesting season in the NFL for sure, let alone this Draft.

the more I read, the more I`m thinking Hargreaves might be a real value in the lower end of the top 10....5 star high school recuit...1st team all-sec as a freshman(actually all 3 years)....nothing but success,success,success...

in this new pass-happy nfl,a guy like Hargreaves(even though he`s short,he has the ability to shadow receivers without a ton of contact) should be very valuable to quite a few teams.....

I`m wondering if offered a primo deal at 6,whether the ravens might slide a few picks if they think they can get a Hargreaves down the line.....I`m absolutely ecstatic that tunsil/jack/bosa or maybe even ramsey may be there....but the ravens love lots of picks....

btw...ar,with these qb`s flying off the shelves, the giants might get a real bargain at 10.....

it`s gonna be fun....

The problem with Hargreaves is that he is only 5'9" so he may have problems covering receivers out wide....He is perfect for the slot but do you take a DB very early for a slot-corner?

There are questions about Jack's knee so he may drop also....

The Rams are at 15, if I were teams like the Ravens, Giants, some of the others, I would trade back....But no further than 15....

I wonder if the Broncos make an offer for Bradford....

I don't think 5'9 measurement will affect his status or where he's taken. Former LSU DB w/AZ right now Matthieu, is barely over 5'9 and Revis isn't much taller and making a decent living.

Good points Bill....You may be right, Bill but today someone is stating that 6'2" William Jackson from Houston will be the 2nd corner picked after Ramsey which might mean Hargreaves is dropping....But really who knows what is going to happen draft night?....

Where it is real F ing COLD
Doesn't the honey badger play more safety than corner? Think that makes a difference when it comes to size. Have to like the Browns move here. Dallas really got screwed with these trades.

As far as Paxton Lynch goes, I think he stinks, never trust a qb who plays a spread offense against really bad teams

we already have a tall corner in jimmy smith so I don`t think height would be a deal killer for the ravens......the only way I see us getting Hargreaves would be via some sort of trade-down scenario....but the front office like lots of picks and Hargreaves has been elite at every level...

somehow I expect more trades(most probably "the day of")

The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reports some Dolphins' execs believe Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves is "undersized" and better suited "as a nickel back."

The Dolphins could be in the market for a corner at No. 13 overall, but it does not sound like Hargreaves will be their guy. Of course, this could all just be a smokescreen to push the talented corner down the board. Bucs GM Jason Licht, who is also in the market for a corner and picking 9th, said he is not worried about Hargreaves' size.

If Miami is down on Hargreaves, Houston's William Jackson and Ohio State's Eli Apple could be options in the first round.

personally I think the "prototype" stuff is a bit overrated...anybody that gets Hargreaves is getting a guy that`s been nothing short of an an utterly elite "football player" at every level....he`s gone up against guys like amari cooper, laquan Treadwell, odell beckham, jarvis landry and kelvin Benjamin...,...he was a 5 star recruit in high school and 1st team all sec all three years in college...all American twice...

in this pass happy nfl,he falls below Miami at 13 because he`s 5`10" or 5`11"(depending on where you look)i`d be very surprised....
