What a game! I waited patiently for the "Pats go against game" - I felt that eventually we'd see a rediculous line like we saw tonight. On the positive side I think this might keep the next few Pats lines down a little. No doubt this team is still very dangerous and on most weeks can bury the opponent. However, now that they have the division locked up, it will be interesting to see if they can keep it up week after week.
The Pats play at Baltimore next Monday night...this should be interesting - and I think had NE covered this week we'd see a line similar to tonight. I still think we'll see a line around Pats -20 or so. And with how anemic the Baltimore offense is they probably could cover 20. I just didn't understand how a team like Phily - who can score and play defense - could catch 24-25 points depending on what line you got. Well let me rephrase that - i can understand - betting NE was getting to be too easy week after week Vegas had to take a stand and push the spread into this insane territory. I was just glad this was the game they chose to inflate the spread to such a tough number to make NE to cover against a team still very much in the playoff race.

I can't wait for this GB game Thursday - being a GB season ticket holder this season has been absolutely amazing (and very profitable as i've been riding GB all year long). I'm a bit nervous as playing at Dallas has been a nightmare for Favre - would love to finally see him win there...I think the spread is going to end up around Dallas -7 for this game - tough call - but don't be surprised if GB wins this outright - people have been doubting GB all year - I follow the ins and outs of this team all year and believed in them throughout the year as everyone kept doubting them. GB has an excellent offense and defense - I think they can beat Dallas - not many teams playing with as much confidence and being as well coached as GB right now - should be great game to watch. Game should decide who gets home field throughout the playoffs unless one of the two hits a snag over the last 4 games. And that home field would be huge - I'd love to see home field go through Lambeau - just been a great season - I thought GB would be very improved and make a run for the Central - but the 10-1 start has been a real treat and hope they can play w/ the confidence they have week in and out. I never heard Lambeau as quiet as when they blew the Bears game - but they really responded nicely and have met every challenge since. Sure they could have a letdown one of these weeks. I just hope they make it a game until the end on Thursday.
