GM & Jeff,
I agree with your statement that the line is there sometimes to encourage money on one side. At the same time, to call it a 'trap' (which I know you both did not say) seems to indicate that the outcome of the game is predetermined, and only the linesmaker knows who will win. I guess it is a petty argument over verbage, but when I hear that word 'trap' it just pisses me off. If you guys weigh the factors and one piece is that you're following the smart money, all the best to you... for me in this game I feel strongly about the performance of the Skins being poor, and it outweighs the normal line movement and watching. Hopefully I am not jumping the gun, but we'll see. Either way, despite only one of us being on the right side -- neither of us will fall victim to the 'trap' set by Vegas!
Acehistr8,
The Redskin offense does worry me somewhat. However, I didn't see the running attack as one that would wear out a defense and leave them vulnerable in the end. The passing game is potentially a game breaker because they do test a team deep often. My biggest concern would be their defense, which looked very weak against a one dimensional offense. Also, the Redskins have historically had problems with better, more mobile, quarterbacks, which may or may not repeat itself under Spurrier.
