The Eagles hung in there with Dallas until it counted.

The games was Philly's to win until once again...

1. Donovan blows it with bad passes and bad decisions, I'm delusional when I defend him, he chokes in the big spots.
2. Andy Reid takes over the play calling late. The first 3 quarters weren't good enough? Why Why Why?
3. Dallas figured out the Eagles are completely one-dimensional.
4. LJ Smith disapeared. The West Coast offense isn't very effective without a TE in the mix. I hate playing Witten because it makes me realize how valuable a weapon the TE can be.
5. Romo showed he is maturing into a very good QB. With McNabb we've seen his best and it's on the downslide now.
6. Dawkins started looking old and Consadine continued to look horrible.
7. The Eagles proved they still can't stop the run.

The Dallas lines were better on both sides of the ball and that is what wins games over and over again.

Oh by the way ---- Great playcall on 4th and 17 ---- the team turned into the Herman Edwards led Jets on that last play. 3 WR's short of the marker by design...you can't make this stuff up.

Where it is real F ing COLD
The fumble between the exchange in the fourth quarter really turned the table obviously... I think they should of quit blitzing except the last blitz with 3 minutes left. They weren't getting to ROMO and they were getting scorched down field. I wouldn't hang your head too much about this loss. Could be worse== VIking FAN :s2:

I went the other way in both upcoming games...
After reading your thoughts, I can agree..
Barring any problems between now and kickoff, this looks promising.

I agree 100%. The blown handoff to Westbrook was the pivotal play of the game, and inexcusable in my eyes. Very strange.

As far as the hook & ladder play, it may have had a shot if it were run to the middle of the field. Why they would run that to the short side was beyond stupid.

.

I think  that was supposed to be a fake handoff with the reverse coming around from the
left. Either that or McNabb is now triple pumping the handoffs.

Maybe he has a little Mackey Sasser in him.
