As feared, Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin has a torn ACL. He won't be a factor this year.

As the NJ.com article states, the team will turn to Riley Cooper, Arrelious Benn and Damaris Johnson.

also,

Ravens TE Dennis Pitta suffered a dislocated hip in practice.

Eagles will miss his 64 catchs a year

this is his rookie contract end at this year

it seems to me maclin has been hurt as much as Percy H:shrug:

I like Riley Cooper though to fill in and Sean Jackson should be back, correct?

Pitta will be missed, but the other TE they have is better in my opinion and he'll be utilized more /crossingmyfingers/.

a more intense situation is the torn acl that could really hurt the broncos at the center position, which is key for p. manning.

______________

A Sunday MRI confirmed Broncos C Dan Koppen has a torn left ACL and will miss the 2013 season.

Koppen turns 34 in September and was only signed out of desperation in June by the Broncos.

The ACL tear could end his ten-year career.

Denver may have to get creative at center after losing both Koppen and J.D. Walton (ankle surgeries). Old Peyton Manning pal Jeff Saturday was awful in Green Bay last year and has retired. Uninspiring in-house options include Manny Ramirez, Philip Blake.
