One more for the morning. Good luck.

White Sox -130 over KANSAS CITY 260/200

Beuhrle is just the man to stop a winning streak for the Royals, as he is 6-1 against them lifetime. Royals are hitting just .188 against lefties over their last 10 games. Grimsley and Hernandez both had relatively high pitch counts (27 and 17, respectively) in their one inning yesterday, so they could be vulnerable today. White Sox bullpen continues to pitch well with more scoreless ball yesterday.

No disrespect you, but
I think like Buehrle is the man to stop the Royals, Byrd is the man to continue this streak, he is the Royals ace and his last outgoing he does it better then Buehrle, I will take the point, good luck Nick!!

With ya on the Pale Hose, Nick.

Byrd has been pitching very well in July thus far, after a horrible June. But his day/night numbers are like "day and night," Rick Helling-like. In the day, he's given up 36 hits in 26 innings for a .330 batting avg., and a 6.92 ERA.

Spock,

I don't want to sound overly excited, but Oakland over is one of the strongest totals plays I have seen this season. Just my opinon and you know I am not much of a totals player, but everything except Hirschbeck behind the plate points over in this game to me.

-Both teams scoring runs lately, including a combined 11 last night.

-Sele struggling badly. Giving up way over 1 hit per inning. Rocked last time out.

-Angels hit lefties great. They hit both Santana and Milton in Minnesota in their last series.

-Angels with bullpen injuries. Percy and Levine both are still out.

-Oakland's bullpen struggling last night

Well, dunno if it was a jinx, but this is a tough way to start an afternoon. Royals come back with a coupla dingers in the ninth and then I get burned by not taking the runline for the second straight day on the Tigers.

Most likely I am going to start playing runlines on a lot of my bigger underdogs. I had a few for a while where I was playing the runline and it was costing me money as the team was winning but lately I have been losing a good number of one run games. Not sure I will do that just yet, but I am thinking about it.

damned if you do, damned if you don't

Nick, my $0.02 worth is to try and be consistent on those big dogs, because you'll just kick yourself more otherwise if you keep switching back and forth between money line and run line plays. I respect your opinions tremendously, so I'm certainly not trying to tell you how to do your business, but I just play them straight all the time and let the chips fall where they may.

As for that Oakland total, I share your enthusiasm for the over.

Good luck with whatever you do tonight.

Oak Total.

I agree with all the points.

Have already played Oak Under. Another thing is last 4 games in this series have gone Over. So they score runs off each other. Also both teams playing well.

jeez .. now I wonder about the Under. :D
will go back home after work and look at the game more closely.

May buy back for a bit.

Thanks for the views.

Cheers !!!

NJO,

Hey, check my record. I think I need someone to tell me what to do in baseball this season :). I understand what you are saying, but it has just been a frustrating couple of weeks.

Spock,

Just from my own experience, I have bought back plays and even gone the other way and usually it ends up being a good thing. Remember if you make a play and change your mind, it is still better to end up holding a winning ticket rather than a loser, even if you cost yourself some odds.

Also, I am going to play two games tonight. I am piggybacking that Oakland over that IE and Meestermike posted. I also looked at the play myself and I think it is strong but I am not going to count it on my record for this page.

TORONTO -130 over Baltimore 390/300

I have watched Carpenter in a couple of starts since he came off the DL and he looks like the real deal. Driskill is finally turning back into a pumpkin so I think tonight is the time to take advantage of that before lines start going heavily against him. Toronto has been a very solid team lately and their bullpen especially has been better than expected.

San Diego +145 over LOS ANGELES 300/435

Ashby is another guy who had a great run but seems to be back pitching how you would expect. Tomko owned the Dodgers last time he faced them and he comes off a great outing against Arizona. Padres' bats are hot and the bullpen is rested after the complete game by Lawrence last night. I have noticed that under Bochy the Pads usually put together at least one good, long streak of wins and it looks like this is that time of year.

Nick,

sometimes there are points which u just fail to see. .. so if not sure in the mind better to buy back .. u r absolutely right ..

I agree with both your picks. Actually wanted to play Toronto yesterday .. thought that the Under was more profitable .. instead Toronto hit a home run in the bottom of the 9'th and gave me a push. I played the Under 9 today also. Driskill pitches very well on the road. Much better than at home. Have watched Carpenter in his last two starts and he has started to find the speed on his fast ball. Also he is lasting 6+ innings.
Toronto has been playing very good last 8-9 games. Thing to remember about Toronto teams is that they tend to be very very streaky. Also they are battin well. Think Toronto takes this one.

San Diego @ LA
I think LA is in a super slump and will be hard to break it. Tomko as u mentioned has pitched well to LA before. Ashby is not dependable .. if Green does not perform LA gonna go down.
Defi think SD is a good shot. Also Under looks good.

Good luck.

Nick

the line on the Under in the Oak game went from -105 to -119 at Pinnacle ..

mean anything ?? big boys on the Under ?

I did buy back and have kept very small play on the Under.

Was just wonderin about huge line change .. I know Nolan wrote somethin about it the other day

Cheers !!!
