Master Capper you did not post and give credit where you got this info from. It came from CFN 2005 Bowls Predictions.

This is the same outfit that predicted Cal would win one game last year!

While I can see USC in the title game (quite frankly, I expect USC to go undefeated). I also believe that Cal has a legit shot at the Rose Bowl (as a 1 loss team, they would be a lock).

At worst, Cal will be the Pac 10's Holiday representative.

I also find it unlikely the Sun Bowl having rematch between Oregon and Minnesota. Non BCS bowls I think prefer to have different teams than the previous year.

Markh I have to disagree with you as I think Clemson finishing 6th next year in the tough ACC is very realistic.

Clemson last year was a 9-4 team, which is a pretty good record. However, they did have wins against Furman, Middle Tenn. St., North Carolina, Duke, and South Carolina. Those are not good teams. 5 of Clemson's 9 wins last year were against bad teams. Now I am not so impressed with their 9 wins last year. In defense of Clemson, I did like how they closed out their season with big wins against Tenn and upsetting FSU.

I think this year Clemson has a VERY TOUGH schedule. I think maybe even the toughest schedule in the country. The top 3 projected teams in the ACC next year are Miami, FSU, and Virginia. Clemson must play all 3 on the road. :scared

Last year G-Tech finished 6th in the ACC with 4 losses. With the ACC expansion, 4 conf. losses could even lower your ranking in the conference. I could easily see Clemson losing all 3 road games to Miami, FSU and UVA. They would then have to run the conf. table to avoid 4 conf. losses.

Clemson finishing 6th in the ACC, you got to be kidding me. No way they play BSU on the blue turf.

Might have been too strong of words to be used. Clemson might be an excellent team to bet in their bowl game since we will know they are much better team than their record would suggest. Or if Clemson finishes top 3 with their brutal schedule, we know Clemson is for real.

Also, are you completely sold on Bowden as their head coach? He was on the "hot" seat prior to the FSU game last year.

Not attacking you, just disagreeing with you. Have good day Markh.

Bowl predicton I disagree with is CAL finishing #4 in the Pac 10. I am happy they are predicting Tenn. to be in a BCS bowl game. That means they would have won over 8 games and I win my futures bet!!!!!

Just going to reply quickly as I on the way out the door.
I see Clemson going 8-3. No way Virginia finishes in the Top 3 of this conf.
If the Tigers win 8 games they will not finish 6th in the ACC, heck even if they go 7-4 they will not finish 6th in the conf.
I agree, they have a suicide schedule. After WF and GTech at home to start the year, they have 3 in a row on the road, at A&M, FSU and Vir.
Getting Utah St, Maryland, NC St. and SC at home will be in their favour. Duke on the road is a win. The only other road game is at Miami towards the end of the season but by then both teams will be peaking so it should be a whale of a game.

As for the Vols, if their QB situation holds up they win 8, otherwise it might get ugly in Knoxville.

I enjoy solid CFB discussion, no worries, I know you are not attacking me. We all have our opinions, just as long as we all accept each others opinions and not put someone down for the sake of it.

I look forward to watching Cal this year!
Have a good one Scott.
