The Brewers slapped the ball all over the place yesterday, and could only get 2 runs in 12 innings. They are still getting some solid wood on the ball.
Today, they send Matt Ford against the Bucs. He has a nice ERA, but that is gained mostely from the pen, at an inning at a time. He got rocked pretty well by Colorado last week. He will give up a few shots today. He will give way to that shitty pen after 4+
Suppan will go for Pitt today, and he is a pretty good ground ball pitcher. The Brewers won't be able to get enough going to beat him, IMO. He pitches 6 or 7 innings a lot of his outings, and should do that today.
