Note: I saw earlier this morning that Hamilton is out for the season for SDSU so the info below is not accurate!~

... Oklahoma State QB back earlier than expected
True freshman QB Bobby Reid, who was projected to be the team?s starter prior to undergoing shoulder surgery earlier this summer, is back practicing with the team; Reid?s recovery is six weeks ahead of schedule, and he is now medically cleared to play; He may soon compete with fellow freshman and current starter Donovan Woods for the team?s starting QB job

ACC

Duke
The Blue Devils are still trying to find a starting QB; Sophomore transfer (Nebraska) Curt Dukes saw his first action last week, and he now joins sophomore preseason starter Mike Schneider and senior Chris Dapolito in the QB rotation ?
North Carolina
Sophomore starting punter David Wooldridge has been suspended for Saturday?s game versus Louisville; Wooldridge was charged with misdemeanor larceny this past Sunday; Head coach John Bunting did not specify the reason for the suspension, only stating that the suspension was due to ?conduct detrimental to the team? ?

N.C. State
Although junior Jay Davis remains the starting QB, O-coordinator Noel Mazzone indicated that redshirt freshman QB Marcus Stone may see more reps this Saturday against Virginia Tech

Big XII

Kansas
Head coach Mark Mangino will try out a new FG kicker and punter for this weekend?s home game versus Texas Tech; Redshirt freshman Scott Webb will take over the FG duties from struggling senior Johnny Beck, while true freshman Kyle Tucker replaces senior Chris Tyrrell as the starting punter

Big Ten

Iowa
Junior starting RG David Walker?s triceps injury has now been determined to be season-ending, after undergoing surgery to repair the damage; Junior Ben Gates will take Walker?s spot on the O-line against Michigan this Saturday ? Junior starting center Brian Ferentz could return to action this Saturday for the first time since suffering a season-ending knee injury last October ?

C-USA

TCU
Junior starting QB Tye Gunn is highly questionable for Saturday?s game against USF, due to sore ribs; Senior Brandon Hassell will get the start at QB in order to give Gunn as much rest as possible ?

USF
Sophomore QB Pat Julmiste will be back in the starter?s role after starting last week?s game on the bench because of a sprained right knee; Despite his injury, Julmiste relieved senior Ronnie Banks during the third quarter of last Saturday?s loss to South Carolina ? ? Junior backup WR Cedric King, who has been sidelined this season due to academics, will not play in 2004, according to head coach Jim Leavitt

MAC

UCF
Sophomore QB Steven Moffett has regained the starting duties after a three-week shuffle of signal-callers; Moffett, who started the opener, wins the job over junior Brandon Sumner and freshman Kyle Israel ? True freshman starting safety Sha?reff Rashad fractured his hand during last week?s game and is expected to miss four-to-six weeks; Rashad becomes the fifth safety that the Golden Knights have had to replace this season ?

Mountain West

San Diego State
Sophomore star RB Lynell Hamilton, who has missed the first two games while rehabbing the broken leg he suffered last season, is back on the practice field and is expected to make his 2004 debut on Saturday versus Nevada

Utah
Junior starting WR Justin Walker, who has missed the last two games following his hand surgery, has returned to practice, but his playing status is still in doubt for Saturday?s game versus Air Force ?

UNLV
With starting WR Terry Furlow still doubtful (ankle sprain) for Saturday?s game against Utah State, head coach John Robinson has moved junior H-back Alvin Marshall to WR; As a result, senior Dyante Perkins and junior JaJa Riley (Ohio State transfer) will see more time at RB ? Robinson, who hinted at the possibility of resigning prior to year?s end, has announced that he would finish the season before deciding his future coaching status ?

Wyoming
Sophomore starting LB Austin Hall is still hampered by the high ankle sprain he suffered during the Texas A&M game, and will remain sidelined for Saturday?s home game versus Ole Miss

Pac-10

Oregon
Redshirt freshman backup QB Johnny DuRocher has left the program and is expected to transfer to another school; At this point, DuRocher is unsure of his next stop, but would like to go to a school where he could get more playing time ?

UCLA
Sophomore starting RB Maurice Drew, who is fresh off a school record 322 yards and five scores at Washington last weekend, will replace the injured Craig Bragg as the Bruins? punt returner for the Bruins? next game against San Diego State ?

Washington State
Sophomore starting QB Josh Swogger has been able to participate at practice this week despite suffering a tear of the posterior cruciate ligament during last Saturday?s victory over Idaho; If Swogger plays in this weekend?s game at Arizona, the Cougars will most likely operate with more shotgun formations

SEC

Ole Miss
Senior top WR Bill Flowers will miss Saturday?s game at Wyoming after suffering a lacerated kidney during last weekend?s win over Vanderbilt ?

South Carolina
A starting QB has yet to be announced for Saturday?s game versus Troy, but coaches indicate that both Dondrial Pinkins and Syvelle Newton will see plenty of playing time; Pinkins, however, missed last week?s game with a shoulder injury and has been hobbled lately by a foot injury, which could limit his snaps ?

WAC

Fresno State
True freshman starting OL Cole Popovich will sit out the rest of the season after suffering a torn biceps tendon; Popovich is expected to receive a medical redshirt, which would allow four more years of eligibility; Senior Manoa Pouono and freshman Ryan Wendell will compete for the vacant O-line starting role ?

San Jose State
Senior Dale Rogers has earned the starting job for Saturday?s game against SMU due to his performance in the first two Spartans? non-conference games; Rogers beats out redshirt freshman Adam Tafralis, who has turned in a solid performance so far this season

UTEP
Sophomore starting safety Joe Fleskoski is expected to miss four-to-six weeks after what is believed to be a torn MCL suffered in last weekend?s loss to Boise State ?

over and unders, the first set of teams have went over the total in all of the games they have played that have had a number, thus in the future the totals could be inflated. The second set of teams have failed to go over the number all year and may see a decrease in future lines thus presenting a ripe opportunity to go over the spread!

Climbers (all have went over the number in each game this year that has had a total with a minimum of 2 totals)
UCLA
Washington
EMich
Illinois
Kansas St
Miami OH
TCU
Vols

Droppers (under each total for the year, minimum 2 games)
South Carolina
BC
Cuse
Wash State
Florida State
Wisky
LSU
Mizzou
Neb
Zona
Cinc
Colorado State
Georgia

Of all the teams posted above, only Wash St and Zona are playing each other. Looks like a good bet on over 38-

Well cashed in on NC State and UCONN, Wake looks like a loser anotherteam with a erratic QB that kills drives and a defense that cannot stop the run. Adding some late leans as small plays:

East Carolina+12
Western Mich-3 (Ball State is bad on both sides of the ball and have some injury issues)
Memphis-1
