Hate to say it but Southern Cal is looking like a solidplay this week against Washington even wtih the huge chalk. Washington is down to their 3rd team QB and has numerous other injuries thus you have to wonder if they wil leven score on USC. This game is shaping up as a HUGE blowout and I wouldnt be surprised to see USC with this game by 45-50 points!

Today's top story ... UCLA's top WR is back
Senior starting WR Craig Bragg, who has missed the last three games due to a dislocated left shoulder, has returned to practice this week and is expected to play in Saturday’s game at Arizona State

ACC

Miami, Fla.
Junior starting WR Sinorice Moss, who missed last Thursday night’s game against Louisville due to a hamstring injury, is expected to be back in the mix for Saturday night’s showdown at N.C. State … Junior starting MLB Leon Williams had the cast removed, which was protecting his broken hand, and will be in the starting lineup for Saturday’s game

Big XII

Kansas
Coming off of a bye week, head coach Mark Mangino announced that sophomore QB Adam Barmann would remain the team’s starting QB for Saturday’s game at Oklahoma; Mangino added that junior Jason Swanson, who led a come-from-behind victory over Kansas State two weekends ago, would also see playing time …

Oklahoma
Sophomore starting LB Rufus Alexander (strained posterior cruciate ligament) was back at practice on Wednesday and is expected to play in Saturday’s game versus Kansas … Redshirt freshman starting DT Carl Pendleton (sprained MCL), however, has been unable to practice this week and is doubtful for Saturday’s contest

Oklahoma State
Freshman starting DE Nathan Peterson is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the season after an MRI revealed a torn ACL; Peterson suffered the injury during last week’s loss to Texas A&M; Junior Jerry Don Bray will take over the starting duties … Although he still may take a redshirt this season, true freshman QB Bobby Reid has practiced his way back into game shape, according to O-coordinator Mike Gundy; Reid, who came out of spring drills as the expected starter, had shoulder surgery in June and has been, but has rehabbed his way back

Big Ten

Northwestern
Junior standout DE Loren Howard, who has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury during the latter stages of fall camp, could possibly return for Saturday’s game versus Wisconsin

Pac-10

Washington
The University did not incur any major penalties, as the NCAA agreed to accept the penalties that had already been issued by the Pac-10, regarding recruiting violations … In addition, former head coach Rick Neuheisel was not charged with any additional penalties, which will allow him to return to the DI-A coaching ranks

SEC

Tennessee
With junior starting SS Brandon Johnson suspended and junior starting DT Jesse Mahelona not expected to play due to an MCL sprain, a pair of Vols will get their first starts on Saturday versus Alabama; Sophomore Jarod Parrish will fill-in for Johnson at SS, whereas fellow sophomore Turk McBride will replace Mahelona in the starting lineup; junior Jason Hall and senior Karlton Neal are also expected to see playing time at the DT spot

Joe,

Why do you like Navy? Like all the rest of your plays as I am on a few so far. Any of the plays fall into the Dont Laugh league? As for the MAC dogs still looking seems to be value in most of these plays on the dogs, early I like Ball State and Western Mich~

Season System Plays 75-47
Last Week 15-5 (started out 9-0 and got greedy)
This Week 0-0
Halftimes 2-1
Rushing Dog Theory 0-3 (just started keeping track of these plays last week before that they were hitting a nice clip)

Teams taht qualify for rushing dog theory this week: Rice, Bama, Wake, UCLA, Fresno, Nebraska, Arkansas, Okie State and CMU!

Tonight
Cuse @ WVU

Been going back and forth all day on which play I wanted to go with as I seem to like both Cuse and the under in this game. I am going to go with the under 51 as my main play as I believe both teams will be able to run the ball effectively thus taking large chunks of the clock down. I still think that 16 points is too many for WVU to be giving a team that has played quite well ever since they were routed by Purdue.

Cuse under 51

Good Luck Cappers!!!!!!

MC, Navy comes up strong laying 9', but i'm still looking. Both Rice and Navy have weak percentages throwing the ball and scoring. I think the better play on this game is on the UNDER 50. Rice really looks sick on the road.
Pickins are slim this week on Laughers, Vegas has these lines tight giving a lot of points to road favorites, naturally some are gone to blow up. This is not becoming a good week to make money wtihout having some good info on these games.
Iowa is coming up close to a Laugher, they are IMPROVING but on the road is the question. Nebraska comes up but not as strong as Iowa. But I like Nebraska to win S/U. if K. State does not have Meir QB at full strength, I doubt that he will be which throws the scenario into a UNDER 55 total..Might be the better play.
Now here is one (don't sh..t in your pants) that has the potential of an upset... SAN JOSE STATE +22..this game comes up as the best DOG play and just shy little from a Laugher PICK..there is all sort of trends out there..but one is their 8-1 against teams with losing records and 4-1 ATS Hawaii and 6-2 on turf. Pick your poison with the assortment of trends.

Best Favorite Is Utah-23/24...I'm looking to key-off a 6 point teaser with Utah -18:
Duke-30 TCU+3
Fresno+18
Northwestern+18
La Tech+4
Air Force+4
S.Jose St+28
Navy-3'
Buffalo +31
New Mexico State+15'....this line should be closer to 3...off about 5/6 points
Iowa+8'
Pitt+1
Boston College+13...this is a play..Notre Dame may be ready to fall
and anybody you like that's in the top 15 only.
If Utah hits...you'll kill the book and if it's loses Oh Well! back to the drawing board.

Joe,

From talking to alot of solid cappers this week everyone seems to be on Nebraska but that was one of the first games that I threw out when I initially pared my plays down. At this point I have the list down to 20 plays but I may have to revisit that game. I will probably give that Utah tease a play although I have never really fared well in college action with teasers. What are you coming up with as far as Maryland @ Clemson, Hous @ TCU and Monroe @ Florida Atlantic? I am getting some strong numbers on these games and was just curious if you had any feeling towards any of the sides?

I have Maryland as a moderate play winning by 3

TCU by 12

can't get true numbers on Fla Atl ..but gut tells me Vegas has overcompensated this game..UL Monroe to cover 14 points

Callahan will have ass on the line this week..a win will keep around awhile...

I'll Pass this along ....look at Texass as an under play....think about defense on these two teams

Another note on the Ohio State game as Lydell Ross has been suspended for the game by Tressel. Pittman and Barndon Joe a converted fullback will get the bulk of the hand offs tomorow.

Season System Plays 77-47
Last Week 15-5 (started out 9-0 and got greedy)
This Week 2-0
Halftimes 2-1
Rushing Dog Theory 0-3 (see above for this weeks Rushing Dogs)

Seems like a strange card this week as I am not getting any large solid numbers on many plays and most of the one's that I am coming up with have a trend that negates their numbers. With that in mind this could be the week that I give back to the books as it seems to happen at least a coupe of times each year.

Memphis and Cinc over 56.5
Iowa over 38.5
Rutgers +6
NW+13
Sota-17
Mizzou-2.5
Florida-24

Just a FYI on the Iowa game but from what I have been hearing is that Ferentz's father passed away this week in Pennsylvania and the team is dedicating this game to his memory.
