My main concern about NC State is that they really have played a weak schedule up to this date, the only road test was at Lubbuck where Tech mauled their defense in the 2nd half. I may pass this game as I really think Amato is a hell of a coach, but I question just how good State is.

Clemson...Lose by 6
WVU..Miami covers
Duke noopinion..ncst was sandbagging for the clemson game
Pitt..to close to calllike pitt at 4 only
Purdue..no opinion
Misss...i show as a winner but cautious
Temple...no opinion
Louisville..should rack up a ton of points..like the over better
UTEP...show as a winner..
Reno..a winna
Texas AM...could be closer then we expect..caution
UVA..show as a winna.but i think they lose this one..would play Ga.Tech anyting under 4,,Tech has won last 6 H.C.that's enough to pull me off this game..
Oregon...too close to call
PSU..Mich by 5
Cal...close but call should cover
San Diego....DO NOT GO AGAINST UNLV
Akron and Toledo...you tell me...Not that informed on MAC..lean on Toledo
Note: If Kentucky line stays at 4' to 5 by game time Jump all over Ky...Georgia has 3 starters injured..that's my take good luck

north Carolina State will roll clemson, Bowden is in trouble with the hard line boosters there and the pressure is beginning to take a toll on him. Just read a newsletter circulating by some boosters calling for his removal, Holtz is taking most of the states top talent according to this newsletter. Remember these are the same people that ran out of town a coach whom won a national title.

Clemson has problems with motivation. When Clemson is motivated, Clemson plays well. When Clemson plays well, Clemson is a better team than State. Obviously, a Thursday night game against an 8-0 squad eliminates the motivation problem. Clemson should win this one, though special teams blunders could be a wild card.

By the way, anyone who thinks Danny Ford was run out of town by Clemson fans is a moron.

Well he was also run out of town for illegial recruiting, but how many other coaches that win national titles are given the leeway when they break the recruiting code? Rick Neuheisel is a perfect example of a guy that cheats and no one says a negative word about. Lou Holtz has been a cheater at nearly every school he has ever been associtaed with, heck Minnesota nearly got the death penalty for his regime, but no one ever mentions the Lou cheats. I may not recall all the incidents of Ford's turmoil in Clemson, I am just going by what the CLemson booster news letter said.

That's the pretext the administration gave, but most fans thought it was a power struggle between the university president and Ford. The real reason the administration forced him out is that he handled a family matter in an admirable, but politically incorrect, manner.

The fans and boosters didn't have any say in the matter.
