early looks-some nice ones for 09/22

a)looking at another over-reaction to the jets dismantling by the pats...now they go to miami to play the super bowl bound phins...as always,you have to take the jets on the road with a full td....jets a different team on the road...they will find a way to stay close...jets+7


b)vikes-6; carolina riding high after home wins over baltimore and detroit(ugghh)....vikes lose tough to a good bear club and in o.t. to offensive juggernaut bills....will the vikes start 0-3?...no way...i look for them to bring a bogus 2-0 carolina team back to earth in their first road venture...no way carolina can keep pace with high powered vike attack...-6 looks like a gift.

c)rams-1;do the rams start 0-3/...again,no....and please,no monday night home dog b.s.(skins-eagles)...i watched tampa and the ravens last week from gun to gun and tampa`s offense is not that good...their receivers don`t stretch the field and they have a mediocre running game....i think the rams come out smokin` and avenge last year`s home loss to tampa....with dallas,at san fran and oakland on deck,a loss here and they could start 1-5....rams get it untracked this week and tampa can`t keep up.

houston+12.5....at home vs so-so colt defense...i think they can stay close.

browns+4.5...i hope kelly holcomb starts...like the browns(should be 2-0) on the road getting points.....

cowboys+8.5...eagles come back down to earth after monday blow-out...love taking good dog plus over a td vs poor home fave after blow-out win...high scoring teams usually flatten out the week following a big scoring output...

skins+8.5-both clubs coming off disappointing home losses...skin defense has to many good players to blow up 2 weeks in a row...49ers have looked less than stellar so far and i like the skin def backfield to play better and take terrell owens away(as much as possible)...if owens struggles,the 49ers struggle...spurrier gets a little more out of offense this week.plus 8.5 is a load of points here...over-reaction to monday night.

You really have to ask yourself whether the Rams have been off and they're ready to come out smoking or whether they're just much worse this year.

Bruce is off to an all right start (which I didn't expect), but losing Hakim really seems to have dropped that offense down a peg. Also consider that just maybe teams have started to figure out how to slow them down, Warner's thumb (which I think is bothering him), and a still medoicre D, and I think we're looking at a shell of their former team.

TB has good d-backs and a decent pass rush. Rams are on grass. Everything's pointing me the opposite way.

I know it seems crazy to think the Rams would start 0-3, but that doesn't mean anything to TB. I know TB's O has problems, but I still like them winning this one.

I don't know about the Skin here, short week and traveled across the country to the west coast... should be a factor? Plus SF coming off a home lost.

I am with you on the jets, they are good road team.

Vikes is a revenge game for the lost to carolina and carolina only win last year.

As for the Cowgirls, they always keep it closed with Eagles at the VET.

This is just my opinions. Oh another thing, RAVENS is guarrantee not to loose this week... lol :grins:

I think this line is being kind to the Jets. They are just an awful team and Miami has proven themselves to be one of the best teams in the league here.

Miami will be on of my plays this week.
