I'm with you on Kentucky big time. Kentucky looked good the first half of the game against GA. They're looking to take out some anger on Miss st. Win by double digits sounds about right.

JB,

Don't you have the funny feeling the Kentucky -3/3' play looks a little "too good to be true?"

Previous gm, MISS ST +3' showed signs of life w/ short road dog outright win/cover @ Memphis, 29-17.

Then a weeks rest?

Kentucky -3/3' @ MISS STATE = No Play

I think the low line is comming from the sizable loss to GA last Sat.
I bet the line moves to -7 or higher by this sat.

I believe that when teams come off break they play worse. Kentucky played a great game against Georgia, the score did not reflect it though. They did show they could win as a road dog vs memphis but I believe Kentucky is a far better team. Miss St is struggling on D and offense hasn't shown me anything either. I will continue to look at game before making it an official play.

Good Luck To You This Weekend

Liking this game very much and feel KY should have a field day as the Michilin man will blow away a pathetic Bulldog team. Miss State's record is 3-4, with wins over such powerhouses like Jax St, Troy St, & Memphis. Their losses have been by an average of 3tds+ to similar teams like Kentucky ( Oregon, Auburn, S.Carolina, & LSU). JMHO

Buddy -- this is an excellent situation for MSU. Very strong angle in their favor.

Pls explain the strong angle. I still say this is one of Sherrill's worst team angle or no angle but will listen to your explanation before laying it.

I agree on "Worst Team Ever" ...They have beaten sub-par troy state and memphis, but thats it. I still believe that this team has given up for the year. Memphis didn't take them seriously and thats why they got beat.

I still haven't made this a play for the weekend but was wanting views from you guys. I appreciate everyones comment. Truthfully i could care less who wins...but i want my Money on the team that does.

So Lets Pick This Game Apart Before Saturday
Tnks Guys :)

JB - thanx for your trends. Just looking at them, I'd have to say that MST has the edge. Trends are OK and I pay attention to them, but by no means are they set in concrete. I try to look at the overall scope of things. In this case one has to remember that in previous years, KY wasn't much of a team whereas MST was definitely the better team. But, alas, MST has gone to the pits and this year's edition sucks big time. Victories over Jax St, Troy St, and Memphis - give me a break! I wouldn't go so far as to say that KY is in the top echelon but I's say they are a very decent team that has played respectable ball. The spread of -4 is kinda low ( had them at -7 ) so it might be a trap but this time, I don't think so. Unless, KY lays down, they should roll over an inept MST by at least 3 tds. JMHO.

I still believe that this team has given up for the year.
They've won two in a row. Granted, they weren't very impressive wins, but teams that throw in the towel don't win two in a row afterward. And if you're going to throw in the towel, you do it when you're 1-4, not when you're 3-4.

Now they've had a week off to regroup and get healthy, and psychologically the break really works in their favor. For an example, look at the State/UK game in 1995, when a 2-5 MSU team came off a bye and beat UK 42-32. UK wasn't as good that year (State was -3), but UK had beaten LSU, USC, and Indiana.

Statistically, these teams are dead even, and with home field and the bye I think State should be favored by 6 or so.
