Northern Arizona is a one horse team Kelly Golob. The kid can shoot the lights out but Iona is going to be a very good team in the Meac. The GAels return 5 starters from a year ago and Rulands boys are at least 12 better than the Lumberjacks on a neutral court.

Missouri is not any more than 12 better than Brown Imo 21 is like an early christmas present. It is the perfect example of these books having too much on their plate and just trying to throw a number out and hoping the sharps will shoot it to the right number. This one is not even close.
If it were not the first week of the season I'd be pounding this one.
250 is enough. (After all maybe I'm the idiot.)

A word of warning on Brown.... (from ESPN)

Brown has suspended Jason Forte, its top returning player, the Providence Journal reports.

Coach Glen Miller said the senior guard would be suspended indefinitely for "behavior detrimental to the team."

Forte was the Ivy League player of the year last season, averaging 16.8 points and five assists per game.

The Bears open Monday at Missouri.

"Taking disciplinary action is never easy," Miller said in a statement released by the school. "At this time, I feel that this decision is in the best interests of the team."

Funny that you and Greg both posted that Iona line within one minute of each other when it was released! This tells me you both caught a good one and know what you're talking about. . . I have a friend that graduated from NAU so he follows them close. . . he thinks they'll be competitve but struggle early on due to only one starter returning. Combine that with the fact that this game is on the road is huge. Remember, NAU has a huge home court advantage given the elevation in Flagstaff. . . other teams struggle but then NAU struggles on the road when they come down from the clouds!

Western Carolina +2.5 for 250. Penn State seems to be the consensus on here today but my power numbers have Western Carolina winning this game by 7 to 10 points. It is early so I will not pound them, but think it is the right side none the less.
