Dizzayton,

I think you hit the nail on the head, all of these factors in Auburn's favor and still only favored by 4???????????????????????? hmmmm

Shocking, Homer4USC enters a good thread and it immediately someone turns it into a PAC10 vs SEC flame fest. :argue:

Homer, notice I said "someone" turns it into a flame fest. Someone being dlvlsu. Your post was fine.

Sorry CWood97 I read it the wrong way. You said i entered a good thread and I took it as if you thought my post did not add anything to the thread or that I made it not a good thread. I only meant to offer my opinion/take on the game and explain why. dlvlsu is the one who needs to stay on topic and quit making ludicrous statements about the Pac 10 in an AU/UGA thread.

BIG GAME

BIG GAME

Oh I can't wait for the College game of the year,
Auburn has very little about Georgia to fear.

In my mind I already know which team will fold,
The same one that lost to the volunteers a week after looking like gold.

MAny of you out there are on the wrong side,
It is a typical bet for those suckers on a cold slide.

So stop overthinking this one and jump on my back,
I haven't felt so confident about a game since last year's superbowl I capped.

I took the panthers and maybe it wasn't pretty,
but a winners and winner and pussy is pussy,
ugly or pretty.

So tonight I wind down and don't bet a time,
Because it would be a shame to break up my hot streak right before hammer time.

Yes that's right I am dropping the hammer,
Win or lose on Saturday I'll be hammered.

Georgia may play tough and even take the lead,
But at the end of the contest the score will most definitely read:

Auburn 31-21.

Good luck guys, I am all in and ready to win.

I mean this in no disrespect, more just a thought after reading your play......
but do you think your small play for Georgia is based subconsciously on the fact you don't want USC to mean Auburn? (just wondering, don't want to debate you, I respect you and admire your zest for your team...I was just curious) ;)

I'm gonna say the Bulldogs are in a tough spot, a lot of road games back to back, in a hostile environment, with a great defense and solid run game coming at them. I think Georgia is good but I have to think off the bye, this is the game for Auburn. Best weapon the Dogs have is their TE, because the tigers are aggressive on defense and good playaction should leave the TE open on some plays. Still this defense is extremely quick and I think the tigers are the play.

I must say that the Georgia bashing as chokers is quite intriguing. When exactly has Auburn been clutch, or did I sleep through all those national championships? Hasnt it been 16 years since Auburn won the SEC?

There are plenty of good reasons to bet either side. Better reasons to not bet the game at all. But you folks acting like Auburn is a clutch performing team need nerw reasons for the play.

I believe they had a chance to show they were # 1 last year didnt they :142lmao: While I at least agree they are better than last year, so is GA. My only question this whole time is how are they better than GA, How is this game different from last year, in what aspect of the game are they better, why am I the only one that does not see preception and reality adding up. In response I get this: Dogs choke,Its Auburns year, etc. I do not mind if someone just has a gut feeling, but from a wagering standpoint I cant see anyone putting value with Auburn. Regardless in less than 24 hours either myself or the enemy will hopfully be man enough to congradulate the winner

No disrespect taken and the answer to your question is NO. As of right now, I think OU would pose a tougher challenge to USC. After this weekend or season, my answer might change. AU simply has not played anybody great so they are somewhat of an unknown to me. I honestly don't know how good they are. We will find out Sat. against a quality opponent in UGA. If AU blows out UGA, that will impress me and I prob. would rank AU #2 in the nation. My bet on UGA is basically a value bet. Not much football handicapping factored into my UGA bet. Good luck with your plays this weekend Irish and I look forward to the USC/ND game. Maybe upset?

I don't blame you for not knowing much about auburn, you live on the west coast, I don't know much about USC, cause I live on the east coast. But I do know something about Auburn, and they don't have to prove anything to me, they are real good, you will see. Ride Auburn!

No connection at all, I've just watched most of their games on TV, while I haven't watched any USC games this season.

What a great game! Congrats to all who took the Tigers and hopefully we'll get the respect we deserve in the polls.

If Auburn isn't No 2 (no matter the results of OU-NU) the system is a sham. Great game Tigers, the best team in America.

Yeah, Auburn is good. I'm interested to see what the line will be against Alabama, probably 6.
