I had to post this as I am on the Preds for tomorrow night with their game against the Pens. Game is in Pitt and at first glance a few nights ago I thought the Pens would be in revenge mode from their 6-0 loss at Nashville a few weeks ago. Not anymore. This Pens team has thrown in the towel. After watching them play Ott. on Sun. night I thought it could have been 6-2 or worse. This team has no puck carrying defenseman and they lack scoring from every line. Now after today this Pens team is possibly saying they won't have a team next year.
They traded possibly their 2 best defenseman in Moran and Bergevin outside of Tarnstrom. These two guys were big leaders in the room, believe it or not, real character guys. Moran had played his whole career in Pitt. They then trade Primeau, Donovan and Hridna. So now they have lost 3 more forwards and their skill level helped this team alot with their speed as well. They got in return for these 5 guys all prospects and Holzinger from TB. Nobody left on this team knows what the last game was like between these two and it would not surprise me at all if Pitt. did not win another game this year. This franchise has fallen hard so fast and it is quite sad. 9 game losing streak, the longest since Mario's rookie year. I look for a much better effort from the Preds who are only 5 pts. out of the playoffs with a game in hand.

Playing Nashville for 5 Units at whatever the line is. Could be the first time this year the Preds are road favs.

Hope this info helps!

Nick - Who said I played for $800 bones? I do not play all my money at the same offshore, for certain reasons of course. I played this line early yesterday at several places, this game is a joke for tonight.

grooven - I have been a huge ND and Horns fan for over 15 years now. I have seasons in SU for the football season to see my Orangeman play. Love college football.

TTM - I never got your e-mail. Could you re-send it, thanks,

I looked back and maybe my post was a bit too hostile. All I was pointing out was that you posted a large bet on a line that is about 15 cents better than any line available and then when someone asked where you got that line, you posted that it was available at a book that has the smallest limits of any book that I know of. It just looks very shady when you keep a posted record but that record includes bets that were not actually made at the units and prices that were posted. If you played it for 2 units at -160 and 3 units at -175, there is no shame in posting that.

Don't sweat it Nick! We will agree to disagree when it comes to my posted record because there are many nights that I play other games but don't include it my record, I am as fair as they come and I leave it out there for all to see. There is no shady part of my record whatsoever so, I never said I keep things hidden or play at different units for a different price in my record. The line opened yesterday at many sites at -160 then promptly rose up later in the day. I give solid info that others can't get their hands on so I don't appreciate being singled out for something I never did. I don't need to give out all the places I played it at, it is that simple.

Horns, I am just glad to see that you are posting a record with the units. IMHO it is a means to see if the 'capper is a chalk player or a dog player or a mix.

I know very little about hockey and must say that I have learned alot and thoroughly enjoyed reading the exchanges between you and Chenker and Ddubs and trademaster and others. In addition to the enjoyment, I have coattailed you and the others on occasion and done very well.

Therefore, I appreciate your taking the time to post for those of us that are far less informed. And I appreciate your posting your record and +/- units. Thank you very much and continued good luck to you and everyone in the group.

Mike:)

There is no need to start a big fuss over this. If you want to erase any doubt about your record you can always just track your plays at BestBettor or any other independent tracking site.
