Finally a game that I feel is way too easy and the betting seems spread out enough to justify it.

TEXAS -4.5

Michigan State was exposed at the end of that Maryland game. Their glaring weakness is lack of a point guard. And I am sorry.....the team with the BEST point guard will find a way to beat them. Texas will take care of the ball better, and is good enough to control the tempo of this game.

Being in Big Ten Country, I am surprised that this Michigan State team has even made it this far. They struggled on the road all year, and really didnt qualify for the tournament until later in the year. Izzo is a great coach, and that is the only thing that has kept this young team playing well at the moment.

Look for texas to put extreme pressure on the ball today and force MANY turnovers. This one is going to be low scoring.....IMO.

Here is a nice fact....in the last 10 games, Texas has not scored below 74 points. In the last 10 games, Michigan State has not allowed more than 64 points. Something has to break.

I dont think that Texas is going to keep that streak alive for the simple fact that this one will be played considerably slower than those previous 10 games. However, Texas should still shoot well from the field. Well enough to get it to about 67-69 points. Mich St will have trouble creating shots....and should only score about 60.

Final score: Texas 68 Michigan State 59

Taking Texas -4.5 (Biggest play of the tourney) and under 134.5

"Finally a game that I feel is way too easy and the betting seems spread out enough to justify it." Glad you said that...

I want to see as many people as possible on Mich St. It is a shame when you love a game and then every and their brother is on it too, almost a guaranteed loser at that point...learned the hard way yesterday...

Vegas amazes me sometimes...how do they do it and do it so well?

Good luck

Yup...I think it is all in the name. People are thinking that Michigan State is a great team that is finally getting it at the right time.

Nahh...this is still a mediocre team with no leader. Tom Izzo will tell you himself that the most disappointing player he has had at MSU in sometime is Adam Ballinger. He was supposed to lead this team to be a lot better than they have been this year. You can almost see it in his face when Ballinger screws up. Instead Michigan States best player and leader of the team IMO is Paul Davis, an 18 year old FRESHMAN. He single handedly took his faltering team on his back to get them the slim win against Maryland. The rest of the team is clueless as to their function on the team. A buddy and I were actually cracking up at how that Maryland-Mich St game was the most sloppy and horrible game that we had ever seen.

Texas is a team that is primed for a championship run...and while Michigan State figures out what they are supposed to do, Texas is going to have their way with them.

Seriously, Big Tease, this Texas team is trash. TJ "Player of the Year" Ford doesnt even need to be guarded on offense because he can't shoot. It's in his head now, and don't think Izzo won't exploit it. I would say Chris Hill is a pretty damn good player. Bottom line, up and down the roster, these teams are equal in talent. In fact, I'd give the edge to MSU. Don't believe the hype. If there is any team that is backed by name and ranking recognition, it's Texas in this spot. MSU has been playing outstanding ball, and is peaking at the right time. Good luck.

Those losses are irrelevant now, really. Team is playing much differently now. If that's the reason to go against MSU, its not a good one. Not saying MSU is a lock, but Texas is far, far from it. And to call this the easiest game of the season is just not right.

MSU and Izzo getting points in the tourney. Playing there best ball this season. Not to mention I think the pressure is on Texas.

I think UT wins, but it goes to the wire. MSU+4.5

i really dont believe txag has any issues with you- it seems to me his post was in response to the amateurish "this game is so easy" or "the easiest game of the year by far".
