I dont care what the spread is on this game. (Of course unless it is over 10, which is doubt) This one is rock solid.

XAVIER over Dayton Line should be about 6. This is Xaviers chance to pull even with the undefeated Flyers. It is now or never for the conference crown. They know this. Dayton has been playing great basketball....but we all know who the class of the ATL-10 is. They will show it on Saturday



Other looks that could also be very strong on Saturday:

Indiana over Mich St
Miami FL over Villanova
Oregon over CAL

Miami by 3


Dont have nothing on Oregon depends on how tonights games transpire,,

I agree with you on Xavier having an edge...but you must remember that the dayton xavier rivalry is a great one...like NC/Duke, you won't see the home team favorite blowing out dayton...being a flyer fan and knowing that they aren't the greatest on the road (read: last night at duquesne), I still think that they are playing really solid bball and will be gunning for a HUGE road win...hall has been playing good, finn is out of the kast, W is always solid, and green has been playing amazing this season...if marshal and jones get hot out side, along with hall, I see a really close outcome...unfortunately I see X winning by a couple, but if they are laying more than 6 I'll be all over the flyers...

plus, dayton is only a short drive to cinnci...the flyer faithful will be present in Xaiver in full effect...can't wait for the game...

I cant disagree with you more. Dayton and xavier is a mild rivalry. Xavier and Cincinnati is a different story. This game is nothing more than a typical rivalry that you get when you have conference teams that are very competitive with each other. No bad blood or anything. Dayton will not fill the stands like you are saying either.

With Chalmers back...this Xavier team can get back to where it should be all year...the Top 15. They will win this one with ease. I am going to play this line all the way up to 8

Just a little input....Dayton Flyers look to this game every year!! The fans will be out to root on Dayton, but the Cintas will still be filled with blue and white. Dayton is playing outstanding basketball right now, Starting five have started every game and it has seem to a right fit. With Marshall at point, Jones has been a key ingredient from deep. Hall is an all around player that will give Sato fits. West in his own right is the man in Ohio!!! The edge does go to Xavier but dont think Dayton wont be in this til the end. More than 5 points is going to be alot here, free throws at the end will seal it and that should be about 4 points.

I see the Dayton/Xavier line is going to be around 8 or 9 points. With that Dayton getting 9 points in the biggest game of the season for them, you have to take them. They are not the type of team to just lay down, they have scorers at every position with a good nucleus coming off the bench. Xavier should win this but just by the free throws at the end.

nope i wont be taking dayton here unless the line is 10 or more.....then i will not play the game at all. xavier WILL beat these guys soundly. I have seen these games many times. where the better team is at home and needing a win to pull even in their division. it brings a rowdy crowd and the home team wins in a rout. trust me....this game has got to be xavier. if you dont like xavier in this spot....it has to be a no play. under no condition should dayton be a play in this spot
