Simple really.

Immediately stop all military pensions, present and future. No monthly checks, no Tricare, nothing. Fend for yourselves.

Just tell those military folks, what neocons want to tell non-military government employees -

"So, we promised you something when you signed up? Too bad. Go fuck yourselves."

Yep, that solves the problem.....and thanks for the applause, toadys.:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

How about this...pay people who are defending the coutnry more and pay people who do nothing less.

Maybe the people defending will feel more appreciated and the people who are doing nothing will continue doing nothing but, not get rewarded for it.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I got another one to add to the list. Quit giving people big refunds back every year because they have children. I'm a single guy getting my ass jammed in taxes and people are getting back 3 - 5 grand yearly cause they have kids! Cut this shit out and would be doing great. Why should I pay more and you less when I'm supporting your children to go to school. Hell people with kids should have to pay more! People focusing on the government giving a hand out to a 18 year old with a seizure disorder instead of worrying about the people who get all there federal taxes back. You have children, too fucking bad, you pay as much as me! I rather have my money go to the low income people and get screwed over by a few dead beats knowing im helping out some who need it then take it in the ass from some family making 80 grand laughing to the bank in february

Just how is the military "defending the country"?

Are they defending us against the anti-Constitution Patriot Act? Illegal government spying on us? Government killing of American citizens?

Are they defending us against the Iraqis and Afghans who never attacked or even threatened us?

Are they defending us against the Saudis who financed the 9-11 attack?

Are they defending us against the spill-over violence of the Mexican drug trade?

They're just toadys like you, the azbob.

The military has been misused. It has cost us thousands of American lives and unknown billions of dollars.

Report: Tax Loophole Pays Out Billions in Tax Credits to Illegal Aliens

Billions of dollars in tax credits are being paid out to illegal immigrants because of a certain ?undocumented worker? tax loophole, Indiana?s WTHR-TV reports.

And, of course, it?s all happening at the expense of the taxpayer.

?There is not a doubt in my mind there?s huge fraud taking place here,? a whistleblower told Eyewitness News on condition of anonymity, ?We?re talking about a multi-billion dollar fraud scheme here that?s taking place and no one is talking about it.?

So how does the alleged fraud work? It?s a little convoluted but reporter Bob Segall walks you through the process:

The Internal Revenue Service says everyone who is employed in the United States ? even those who are working here illegally ? must report income and pay taxes. Of course, undocumented workers are not supposed to have a social security number. So for them to pay taxes, the IRS created what?s called an ITIN, an individual taxpayer identification number. A 9-digit ITIN number issued by the IRS provides both resident and nonresident aliens with a unique identification number that allows them to file tax returns.
[...]
Each spring, at tax preparation offices all across the nation, many illegal immigrants are now eagerly filing tax returns to take advantage of a tax loophole, using their ITIN numbers to get huge refunds from the IRS.

The loophole is called the Additional Child Tax Credit. It?s a fully-refundable credit of up to $1000 per child, and it?s meant to help working families who have children living at home.

And this is where the scheme kicks in: many illegal immigrant use the tax credit to claim children living in Mexico as dependents.

?We?ve seen sometimes 10 or 12 dependents, most times nieces and nephews, on these tax forms,? the whistleblower told Eyewitness News. ?The more you put on there, the more you get back.?

Watch the wthr.com report:

According to Eyewitness, the whistleblower was able to provide proof of the scheme. For instance, he produced a return that shows a $10,3000 refund paid out to an ?undocumented worker? who claimed nine nieces and nephews. Another return showed an $11,000 refund made to another ?undocumented worker? who claimed seven nieces and nephews.

?I can bring out stacks and stacks. It?s just so easy it?s ridiculous,? the anonymous source said.

?The magnitude of the problem has grown exponentially,? Russell George, the United States Department of Treasury?s Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) said.

A report released by George?s office shows the problem costs taxpayers more than $4.2 billion each year.

?Keep in mind, we?re talking $4 billion per year,? George said. ?It?s very troubling.?

Apparently, the IRS has known about the scheme for years and it has done nothing about it despite repeated warnings from the inspector general?s office.

?Millions of people are seeking this tax credit who, we believe, are not entitled to it,? said the inspector general. ?We have made recommendations to [IRS] as to how they could address this, and they have not taken sufficient action in our view to solve the problem.?

So what I am reading here is that both sides of the political spectrum on Madjacks want the budget cut in some way, shape, or form.
Maybe some want military cut, maybe some want services for illegal immigrants. Maybe a lot of people want both cut.

The funny thing is, neither presidential candidate will reduce the budget in any significant way. Puts the bickering over who to support in perspective.

Neither candidate will do what anybody wants. :142smilie

Bleeding...that is a great point. Why does the government reward people for having kids as it only gives them incentives to have them?

Further, you are exactly right...people with kids should be taxed more because their kids are draining resources.

That just shows you how mixed up the tax system is. I watch Judge Judy and two things are universal on that show:

1) every other person is waiting for a settlement check for some accident or claim and
2) people state they make some salary around $5-$10,000 and they are getting $5,000 and above back in a tax refund.

No need to respond to these idiots who question if the military is defending the country.

They have become MERCS

Yes, and that's a goddamned shame.

After Japan attacked us, my father and his brothers stood in a long line to volunteer. They were part of what Peter Jennings has called the Greatest Generation.

Dad served in the Navy and came home safe and sound.

Uncle Roger led a squadron of P-51s against the Japanese, killed a shitload of them, and came home safe and sound.

Uncle Bob was buried near where he was killed during the Battle of the Bulge. Grandma got a two-bit Purple Heart and a Gold Star in exchange for her son.

Nobody complained, nobody expected a medal, a parade or a nickel. They served when our country needed them.

And nobody gave a shit which party the President belonged to. Her was our President.

Today?

Half the country has only one goal: Get That Nigger Out Of The White House.

Duffy,

Really no argument from me, except a minor correction.

Tom Brokaw called those boys anf girls from that era, "The Greatest Generation" and had written a very popular and top selling book with the same title.
I have read it, it's something you need to go through twice.

Ahhh the P51 !

What a BAD ASS FIGHTER SHE WAS !

Among one of the most famous fighters of World War II, the P-51 Mustang has its roots in both Britain and the USA. Originally overlooked by the USAAF, the P-51 did not see action with American forces until March 1943. Once its full potential had been developed, the USA realized that this aircraft had been ignored for far too long a time. With the forging of the American airframe with the British Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, it would be unmatched by any other piston aircraft of World War II. (Graphic courtesy of www.skywear.com)

You don't honestly believe that 50% is an accurate number for those who have " Hope for Change in 2012?"

He's not a "Nigger" Duff, he is a Mutt, like you, me, and a majority of the people who live in THESE UNITED STATES !

I have a question for you, check email for you, check email in about 10-15 mins :toast:
