OK,

So it goes like this. I was selling some Orioles bullpen tickets to some people on ebay. I sold the tickets to a buyer for like $41.00. Anyway, I had the seats as TBD in the auction but put all the details of the bullpen party in the auction. A few days later, someone who bought the tickets says he no longer wants the seats ****but he wants the bullpen party tickets**** and is saying hes going to leave negative feedback and contact paypal and get his money back. This is ridiculous because the seats and the bullpen party is one ticket, its not an option which was clearly stated in the auction. Any suggestions on what I should do????

he can leave negative feedback, and you can refute whatever he writes directly underneath it with reference to the auction then leave negative feedback for him. He can try to get his money back from paypal, but he'll lose that as well assuming like you say it is clear in the auction and that you have already mailed them to him and have delivery confirmation. I've had people threaten me with negative feedback as well, but they never went through with it after I told them I would forward their email and threat to ebay investigations. If you are in the right here and did not have an unclear ad, I don't think u have anything to worry about. That's just been my experience at least. Gl, and tell him to go Fock himself (nah, better not email him that, or it will be ammo against u).

PS, paypal and ebay are both EXTREMELY user UNFRIENDLY, and both have chitty customer service. I think he'll have trouble getting his money back. Just be thankful it's not over more money than this.

Well, He never did anything. He sent me a bunch of email that harassed me and used profanities. So I pretty much ignored his e mails. He has not left feedback for me either (even though if he were to I am sure it would be negative). I left him positive feedback at the moment of payment (which is a mistake I will never do again, I'll always wait to receive positive feedback first before leaving feedback). However, I can always do a follow up feedback it just won't register as a negative on his, and I will do this if he leaves me a negative.

Anyway, if I have any more problems with him I am going to forward copies of his emails to ebay. I think my main problem was I was dealing with someone new with a zero feedback rating (I don't think he knows about feedback or how to use it) and it was most likely a young kid from what I could gather (some of his emails kind of reminded me of private petey). Hopefully, it all works out for the best.

Thanks for the suggestions sixfive.
