Ebay-Need advice

I was interested in some items on ebay and they cost about $900 not included shipping. I went to the sellers feedback and they have 3 negative feedbacks in the last 2 months. Buyer paid for the item but the seller never shipped the item. Ive emailed them several times and they seem to be somewhat pushy. So heres my question.


If I send them $900 and I don't get my items what is my recourse? Can I get the money back or am I fucked?

you can be fucked. through pay pal, you would more than likely get your money back, but its a big hassle and takes forever.

this. but i wouldnt even chance it.

if you pay and get nothing, you have to file a claim through paypal which can take like 2 months. and its not even a guarantee youll get your money back.

guy could ship an empty box and upload the tracking info and it would just be his word against yours. PayPal would then have to look into it and make the decision, although they usually side with the buyer but it isnt a guarantee.
