cincy -17: ecu manages a good second half against arguably the worst defense in fcs and now they're the most popular public dog of this weekend? i just can't see it. the bearcats may have lost their chance at the aac conference title in orlando last weekend, but they still have a chance to achieve that rare 10 win season today, as well as improve their bowl opportunities and avenge last years defeat in greenville. the pirates rushed for over 400 yards last week against the hapless huskies, but that's not likely to happen against cincy as ecu's star rb darius pinnix is out today. i guess the prevailing thought is the bearcats will be flat after last week's loss, but the pirates have consistently displayed the inability to stop any credible offense, and the bearcats clearly fit that category.
