ECU down 14-0 vs VCU came back and beat them...Kemp is ECU qb and out of nowhere comes in wide receiver Summers who is a dual threat that VCU had no answers..he rushed for 160 yds and 3 td's...he is a duel threat himself and the have Kemp who sits in the pocket...triple threat...Smoo defense is going to have a tough time stopping the Pirates... they gave up over 500 yds to JMU last week.ECU has Isiah Jones one of the best wr's in the country...Smoo's whole offense goes through Davis but think ECU can slow him down somewhat..don't think Smoo defense can slow down the Pirates...only concern...ECU is coming off big win vs VT but last year after they beat VT they beat North Carolina 70-41 on the road and the year before that beat NC again 55-31..so much for swelled heads..
UMass -3 over FIU **
Mass coming off beat down in South bend..but like 6'6 Frohnapel at Qb and his wr Sharpe at 6'4...he is not going to get the pressure and see the defense he saw last week...
Oklahoma -6.5 over West Vir ***
WV top defense,blew away Ga So and Maryland,etc...but OU is much quicker everywhere...on both sides of the ball...last yr they couldn't stop Perrine..think they are still adding his rushing yds...at home OU wins this by 2 td's.
Houston -6.5 over Tulsa ** line -9
Coogs have dual threat Ward at Qb...think Canes have trouble with him.. Coogs playing good.
TCU -14 over Texas **
Unreal how Texas has lost their last few...Heard is the real deal...TCU defense is hurting but they have Boykin....Texas will not be able to pass rush and Boykin will have a huge game like he does every week.. TCU wants him to get Heisman numbers...Texas will score but when the final whistle sounds Frogs will be up by 3 td's.
Navy -5.5 over Air force ***
who ever wins this wins the CIC trophy...forget playing Army...last yr AF won...no way Reynolds goes out as a senior and loses this game.... he is a stud running the wish...
Texas Tech +17.5 over Baylor **
What a game to watch...the over is 88....small play on Tech staying with them...but this is one of those games Tech could be ahead 35-34 and you run to the bathroom,get a bud from the frig,text somebody, sit back down on the couch and its Baylor 77-34...
Col St +4 over Utah St **
Penn St -24.5 over Army **
Penn St should roll over Army. Hackenberg had Heisman talk pre-season and has throw 4 td's so far..they lose to Temple,Rutgers gives they a game. Penn St has no running game...has talent everywhere but no one is showing up...so why not take it out on Army...Penn with Lynch and Barkley should just run and run...Lions OL is massive..Army DL is small with no depth what so ever..Army finally got their running game going beating Eastern Mich...they are getting little from the fb position..Bradshaw has been benched and AJ Shurr is back..he is terrible..Armys biggest problem is trying to run the ball between one of the best tandem DT's in the country in Johnson and Austin.. 6'4 280 and 325...with no fullback attack anyway looks like Army is going outside..where the Lions have Linebacker U...the one worry ..no one wants to beat Army bad so back door cover or laying low at the nd could hurt..
