Just cause I don't bet anymore doesn't mean I dont follow football or mind-bet. Bengals are a better team under Lewis. As long as Mike Brown keeps his dirty little greasy lawyer hands out of the day to day football operations they will get better. I mean how much worse can they get.
There defense is playing better and they will be competitive against the Ravens this sunday. I dont know what the line is but I think the Bengals will jam up the middle to stop Lewis and let Boller or whoever is qb'ing the Ravens beat them.
Remember also, Lewis was defensive coordinator of the Ravens when they went to the super bowl. So he knows that team, albeit one year removed (Washington). The problem is that Kitna aint gonna beat alot of people, Dillon is dinged up (not sure if he will even play).
The turf at PBS sucks (Dillon injured on it and bitched) so wouldn't be surprised to see Lewis slip a couple of times. I just remembered they are replacing it. Not sure if it was done over the bye week. Still, in either scenario, new turf which is a ? or old turf which sucks.
The obvious bets (to me anyway) are the under, whatever it is and the Bengals if they are getting 5 or more.
For what its worth,
Eddie
