Eddie says "Kerry wins"!!!

And it won't be as close as you think. Here is my logic in making this bold prediction on this most right wing board.

4 years ago in a tight election, as we all know, Gore won the popular vote and Bush won the electoral vote. Had about 550 Florida voters or, in the alternative, 1 US Supreme Court justice, voted the other way, most of you clowns would be complaining about Gore and I, and the other centrists, would be defending his record.

Further assumptions, republicans always vote no matter what. Democrats vote if the sky is blue and the temperature is above 70 degrees (bad news for Kerry 90% chance of rain in southern Ohio tomorrow). Okay, here is my prediction.

Since 4 years ago, all the republicans came out to vote and their putz didn't win the popular vote and squeaked by on the electoral vote when Gore, no matter how hard he tried, couldn't completely seperate himself from what some may consider the amoral President Clinton.

After working his majic for the last 4 years, Bush has pissed off, killed, unemployed, and totally f***ed over so many people that no matter how much of his base turns out tomorrow, he will lose to Kerry. I don't think it will be that close. These facts coupled with the strong voter registration numbers suggests an ill wind for this sitting president.

Eddie predicts, despite less than ideal weather in this swing state, the following numbers for the poplular vote:

Kerry 52%
Bush 47%
Nader 1%

In addition, I believe the over/under is 125,000,000 votes will be cast for president (by the way don't go looking for that number at Pinnacle you pathetic losers as I set the number). I believe it will be over. If so, Kerry wins easily.

As you know, MC, Ohio is real tight. Democratic north v. Republican south. Cleveland v. Cincinnati. Browns v. Bengals. Indians v. Reds. Cats v. Dogs. Depends on how the voters in your half of the state come out. You know my half is voting for Enron/Haliburton 04.

Saw a great yard sign today. I'm driving down this street and every other house seemingly had a Bush/Cheney or Kerry/Edwards sign in the front yard. Then I see this guys house with a Gore/Liebermann sign. Just cracked me up.

Hopefully, the north will negate Cincinnati and rural Ohio. I just hope the people in Canton at Diebold and other companies that have lost there jobs are sufficently motivated. What do you think of the over/under on the total votes?

Well I hope there is a record turnout as the Akron Beacon Journal is forecasting a 77-80% turnout in Summit County. I am not privy to the inner workings of either party but I think it would be safe to assume that the Republicans are worried about northern Ohio having a huge turnout and I base this on the party wanting challengers at the polls. They must know in advance that a huge turnout could be coming! Issue One on the ballot may backfire on the Republicans about gay marriage may backfire on them as now Voinivich, Taft and Blackwell have all come out against the issue saying that it will also take rights away from hetrosexuals

gotta agree w/eddie these polls are bogus. a federal judge disallowed the republican wish to challenge voters in key states. ie: ask every black or latin voter for voter id. now it won't even be close and they know it. all over but the waiting. can not believe the american voter is that stupid but then again i couldn't believe half of this club especially when ashcroft and mccain said we were contrbuting to the terrorists by gambling and sending money off-shore. go figure

No Nosigar, David Boies said that if the US Supreme Court allowed the recount to continue, the recount method proposed by Gore's legal team would have given Bush the White House. The method proposed by James Baker, Bush's ambulance chaser, would have given Gore the White House.

We are only guessing. But thats just it, Nosigar, the republican justices on the US Supreme Court guaranteed that we will never know the truth. Just a little old right wing election interference. A Bush guarantees the US will be a second class nation.

if Gore had been elected, I doubt if there would be anybody who could be defending his record at this point in time. I think that the election is too close to call at this time and will probably, to the delight of Edward and his cronies, be decided by a bunch of lawyers. Hopefully we will have a clear winner regardless of the side.

my guess is,now that the voter challenges in ohio have been shot down by that clinton appointed liberal federal judge ,that "e.a.e." will also be a bonafide registered democratic voter..........

the dems are doing a masterful job of registering "voters".........

and i think if there are enough liberal judges around,they may just win me my bets.....

Ive never been too politcal, not proud fo that, but for my life I've worked with kids and read and written and not got into this arena, but i've finally gotten interested in last 5 years ... Ive always strived to be objective but for the life of me I dont see how 6/10 people in this nation would blink at saying NO to Bush ... I realize how some people might view the world and would vote for Bush, but not the majority ... maybe thats a naive view but tomorrow I hope our Nation does the right thing

How come when republicans challenge Ohio's voter registrations and it is shot down its because of a liberal judge but when democrats challenge Floridas vote count the conservative US Supreme Court interferes in a states election law and shoots down such challenge, its okay?

My belief that Kerry will make a good president is tempered by who will be in Congress. In all likelyhood, both the house and senate will remain in the hands of your party. As such, I do not anticipate meaningful change.

Gridlock will most likely be the norm. Come to think of it, that ain't all bad. When these clowns on both sides of the aisle restrict each other from pandering to their respective special interest backers, the rest of us win.

Those special interests include trial lawyers, doctors, insurance companies and drug companies.

It is the same story it has always been, when the Dems don't like something, it is the Republicans fault, and vise-a-versa. Everyone looks to blame someone else instead of taking any responsibility. Eddy my man, I respect your opinions and I know like the other Dems in this forum, like the other republicans, we all just want what is best for not only our country, but the whole world. We just see things differently and how to go about it. To you and the other Kerry supporters, good luck. I will stand behind him if he wins. I still believe that Bush is the best suited for our country and have major concerns about Kerry. I still think Bush takes it today. Just hope we don't get bogged down with all sorts of crap afterwards regardless of who is president.

I heard the eloquent P.Diddy, he of "Vote or Die" fame talking about the election on the radio today. He said it was important to get the young people out to vote. To that I say "Amen." He also said that he voted for the first time in the last election. So I guess the 35 year old Diddy went a few times without voting. Best thing he said was that he was "DISINFRANCHISED" (sp) in the last election. When asked how that could be, Diddy said because that was the first time he ever voted. The guy asked him if he got to vote, how was he disinfranchised? Diddy said that he was because the politicians didn't listen to him. AND THE BEAT GOES ON...
