You're thinking of Cameron Crowe, layinwood. He got to know the band when he had Vetter and Ament do cameos in the movie 'Singles'.
I agree about their greatness--they are amazing live--easily one of the best shows I've seen in an arena setting.

Greg, posters are awfully brave when they can hide behind the secrecy of the Internet. We post either topics of interest or topics asking a question. yyz will chime in and name call and disrupt the thread. I assume most of us are respectable adults in the forums. But a few here are either young or to immature to be polite. yyz doesn't like that I talk Hilton. I've asked him to stay out of my threads but he just wont, he needs to name call and disrupt and it really pisses me off.
This site cannot exist with a yyz. Every site has a yyz and 95% of people here are fine with him. Calm down, sir.

I like his posts... everyone says some inane shit once in awhile (some more than others) and he's quick to call BS typically in a pretty humorous fashion. I also like the way The Boys has started baiting with many of his posts... it's all good. Man up pussies.
