I ran xoftspy, which will scan your computer for free but won't delete the stuff unless you buy it. (This has found more than any other scan I have used.) It found coolwebsearch in my registry, which I thought I had removed, but it listed this regestry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSettings\Zone Map\Domains

Listed under domains was a whole bunch of domains, including coolwebsearch. Will it effect my computer if I delete most of these? Some were like xxx teens, freepoker, and a ton of other stuff. I deleted the ones that xsoft identified as a threat, but just wonder if deleting the others will harm anything?

Try using adaware or spybot search and destroy first, they are free. I know many senior UNIX engineers that shy away from editing the registrey. You REALLY have to know EXACTKY what you are doing.
