I have never interjected myself in the Mad Jack's Board vs. edludes feud but with yyz bringing it up tonight, curiosity got the best of me. Here is the latest in the edludes bestbettor.com challenge.

I suck at bestbettor! I will never say otherwise. The thing is, and has always been........what does bb really mean? Do you wager that way? Only on sides, and select totals? Never any props....halves, etc?

I only went to bestbettor after edludes kept spouting off about, "If you're so good......beat me in bestbettor!"

Well, I play over there with almost zero thought. Pretty much hunt and peck, and hope the games hit!

I chose the name 'edludes blows', as a slam st his dumb ass, and so finding both names would be very simple.

edludes will always try to spin things in his direction, and make it look like he kicking my ass.......he is not. In NBA, it is no contest! I am getting pounded, to be sure. But, I would still be willing to say, I will have "less negitive units" by seasons end, than he does. And again......what will it matter?

He lives over there, placing his imaginary bets, and calling me on mine. (Sadly........I have a few buck in two accounts yet, and actually make a few wagers, here and there. Doing quite well so far, in hoops, but still struggling in NFL.)

I don't mind edludes too much, as he is very transparent, and actually kind of fun to spar with. I laugh at the fact that he can "spot my failures", yet seems oblivious to his own, identicle problems. (Funny for a BTJ supporter, who would always chirp about me picking on him!........."You say bad things about him, because he reminds you of you!")

He is pretty harmless, and if he wants to "save the board" from me, he can be my guest.

I hope he faded the two winners I posted this evening..........

I bet the same way I play at bestbettor.com. I fully admit that I sometimes either forget to post my plays there or I add late plays that go off after the games close at bestbettor.com (games go off the board there at the top of the hour) so my results there do not match my personal results exactly.

Now that you bring it up, I would argue that most gamblers would be far better off if they only played sides and totals and eschewed halftimes, props, etc. I know that I would be. That is why I rarely play those plays anymore.

You are right to a certain extent that success at bestbettor.com ultimately means little if you don't have success in your actual plays. Anyway, I find the whole thing a bit silly and I see that you have the right approach, too, in not taking this very seriously.
