Hi,

I wanted to shed somemore light on that book.
"How Professional Gamblers beat the Pro Football pointspread". While this book is GEARED primarily for Football,
These concepts in this book CERTAINLY apply to every sport
that you possibly can bet on. I haven't finished reading this yet.
but I can tell you this, it's the best 34.95 I've ever spent. I also
wanted to let you know that, I wasn't referring to you on that reply in "worm44" post. I was simply pointing out, that no matter what you do in this forum, you CANNOT keep everyone happy.
I also think that MORE people should READ this book. It will give them a DIFFERENT flavor in terms of betting on professional sports. Take care, and good luck................Doc.

Doc-Glad you're enjoying the book.Best sports handicapping book I've ever read.Though its written about football, the bulk of it applies to other sports. His late brother was quoted as saying if you read the chapter on money management and don't believe it,you'd better read it again, before moving on.You see guys here, some of whom are accomplished handicappers lose an amount equal to 98% of their starting bankroll in one day!(He said he was up 340% of his starting bankroll for the season and then lost 29% of the 340% on NCAA BB Semis!Horrible moneymanagement system!)Anyway Worm or anybody else sure would win more money if he'd adopt the books money management principles. The purpose of this forum is to share ways to make money and that was what I was trying to do with worm.
