Can someone tell me why it is so hard for us to come up with a touch screen voting machine that produces a paper trail? Seems to me that it should be quite easy if they would base the machines on the ATM's that most Americans use to get cash when the banks are closed. The ATM machines always give you a printed receipt and I have yet to get a receipt that was wrong so why cant this be done with the voting machines? You could push the screen for your choices and then when you were done the machine would print out a receipt showing exactly whom your choices were which you could review for accuracy.

Well Ohio got some good news yesterday for the right of people in the state to vote as a Federal Judge (Clinton appointed) ruled that the challenges made by the Republican party to stop over 35k people from voting were not fair and most be stopped immediately! They now have subpoenaed in members of the Republican Party to show cause on why they are challenging voters as it has been speculated that they challenged new voters for no reasons just to stop the vote from occurring and if this is the case they could be looking at a felony charge.
