I've been doing scenes with our Elf on the shelf for the last 2 years... plenty of fun laughs. dang it... cant get the image uploader to work to share them

Also new to the "elf" with my grand daughter.....the other nite everyone goes to bed..I have 1 important job...after everyone is sleeping move the freak'in elf....well grandpa forgets..watching a late hoops game..Jimmy Kimmel...sportscenter....go to bed... 1st one up 5.30 going to gym to work out...grand daughter hears me and comes downstairs,' Grandpa..."the Elf didn't move"....holy shit..I forgot..she accuses me of touching it. She says "it loses its magic if you touch it"...I told her I didn't touch it..by then my wife comes down and is just shaking her head in disgust....daughter a few minutes later...wow.. I have disappointed every one...feel real bad but I then see my cat jump up to a table..I say " its Bevo" our cat...he touched the elf....my grand daughter agrees ..it was bevo...Grandpa saved..so for the last 3 nites I'm on it....freak'in elf on the shelf...I like those pictures...but this Elf stuff is for real....:mj07:

something else I do for my kids with the elf.. I created a fake gmail account with the elf's name on it. Our's is named "Jolly the elf" so I created jollytheelf at gmail.com and they will leave notes out for the elf some nights, and the elf will respond back to them with an email the next night.
the kids love it and freak out every time they see a new message in their inbox
