please reply with feedback. i could miss a good bet with my early eliminating. like yesterday, i eliminated ARI/COL and prospector opened my eyes to a good bet on ARI and it HELPED make me money. thanks!

atl/met--again, we get the braves at a decent price and get to play against the struggling mets. i'll have to look closer for a possible atl play.

mon/pit--eliminated--garbage game, IMO, and i won't waste my time capping it.

mil/cub--can the brewers take 3 in a row at wrigley? i'll find out when i dig deeper into this one. it will be MIL or a pass.

cin/hou--not sure who's pitching for hou yet. i'll check it out when it's official.

ari/col--maybe an unusual play for me on johnson as the rockies are struggling big time. have to look.

phi/fla--eliminated--can't play fla at -140 and won't play phi on 3 game loss streak.

sd/lad--eaton might be a nice dog play here. will cap the game.

sf/stl--have to look at the game. will have to consider sf as a dog when they are playing as well as they are.

tor/bos--have to look and see if i can come up with reasons to go against wakefield. i hate betting on/against knucklers but maybe a letdown? i'll take a look.

min/det--det hot, min not. will look for reasons to take det.

nyy/tb--eliminated--can't play lilly as a 180 fave and can't back the pitiful tb team. pass.

cws/bal--eliminated--

cle/kc--eliminated--not laying big money with colon on the road and can't back kc either.

tex/oak--over? i don't know but will look.

ana/sea--gonna look but a play on ana without looking wouldn't be a bad play here.

looks like i have 9 games to handicap. i'll have my plays on my page by noon.

good luck!

dogs are not as attractive as yesterday.

my contribution:

ana/seattle. both pitchers very even in last five outings, plus seattle is once again facing a lefthanded pitcher, where they show much less in b.a. and production. a bargain.

milw + 120 holy sheet
zona - 175 all bout the big unit
fla - 130 goodbye to 1st place phillies
sdp + 110 line should go up w/la losing
bst - 170 said the other day "wakefield"
tbdr + 2 runs if i can get it again
balt - 130 balt towers over baldwin wsx
sea - 180 2L in a row, no way 3 at home

i have to agree with Thisisbad...this has been good flor to win and over. marlins are going for the top. also like the over in sd/la, with sd as strong dog. mil w/towers, det w/sparks, two more strong dogs out for wins. good luck HC, always stop to read your posts before betting, you give us much to consider. thanks for all your time and effort to help others!

i settled with:
atl
mil
ari
sd
det
ana

that's plenty of plays. i didn't like laying -140 on fla, i hate playing under in col (i really hate playing anything there) and i didn't feel like capping the cws/bal game. don't know why i played ari. i hate laying over -130 much less -177? i never win those, so be careful.

yes, newbies can reply.

thanks for the response, everybody!!

As a newbie to this forum, I would really like to thank MJ,IE and ALL the GREAT cappers here. The level of exchange, sharing of knowledge/stats and caring here is unmatched anywhere. This forum gives a decent capper all the tools necessary to weed out the best plays and profit from them. Before I found this site I tended to play the board a lot. One valuable lesson I have taken from this place is to limit plays to those with a good edge and/or value and pound them for profit. Also to never chase when your having a bad day or streak. It can be hard to resist sometimes and I'm sure even the best 'trip' every so often, however this place has given me more disipline to stay the course. We are running a marathon my friends, not a sprint. I, as I feel everyone here does, would like to be there at the finish line one day.

Anyways, just some of my thoughts. Thanks again

funny, i never really look at how many posts a person has, rather what he/she has to say.

jack

yes, i noticed you are back on top. nice going. and so much for my fair value on ana/seattle. and yes, you asked for it (and knew it, didn't you?) with that -177. i smartly skipped this sunday.
