Pass the buck? Just trying to get a clear answer from you. Pardon my French, but "F**K YOU" for accusing me of using Pat Tillman's death as a "means to bash our military". ...And then you try and 'weasel' out of it by being vague. .."I know you were just posting the story". What the hell kind of bullshit is that?

That is the kind if idiotic, off-base chickenhawk rhetoric that I guess makes you who you are. F**k off.

the "f' bomb?......i apologize for upsetting you....

And it's barely found on FoxNews.Com. Face it, the story wasn't as big as you were hoping. Nothing to blame on the media. Great job by our agencies. I'm sure if the bad guys' plan was closer to fruition, it would be a story with more legs. As it is, it was only big for a day or 2.

I notice you don't give NYT any kudos for placing the Jefferson indictment as high on their lead stories as Fox did. They sure aren't hiding from that story. ...In fact they even put the words "Democrat" and "Indicted" in the same headline.

btw....fyi....the nyt`s put the story on,i think,page 37.....

practically every other major newspaper....liberal rags included(to their credit),had the story on page one.....as it should have been....

the nyt`s is absolutely in a league of it`s own......

i say this as an fyi...in a mild manner...in a nice respectful tone....

without malice...or intent to induce rage in anyone...

people that ask questions at presidential debates. I would take the mike in the next debate and ask : You scumbags have been lying to us for the last 40 yrs, why should I trust what any of you have to say now ? Why are you running ? Are your ambitions bigger than the ambitions of the American people that supply the play money ??

I guess that's why it's on the lower right of the front page of Sunday's edition.

http://www.nytimes.com/indexes/2007/06/03/pageone/scan/index.html

I guess you just take whatever newsmax.com or that worldnetdaily bullshit feeds you and run with it like it's the word of god.

no,my little skidmark.....that`s not a front page article...front page articles don`t say "inside'....

that means you have to go to page 37 to read the article...

the important stuff is on the front page....you know, like the "guantanamo bay" article and the ones on "indian peasants" and "violin repairmen"......

lol

The article begins on the front page! How stubbornly ridiculous are you people? ...By your definition, NOTHING is on the front page because every article continues on another page. That's how newspapers work.

I realize that your psychozines and bunker fliers probably put an entire article on the front page, but that's not how grown-up papers do it.

Is there anything that you can look at in a sane manner?

the actual front page articles say"continued on page such and such"....

that`s a blurb that directs you to the real article on ,i believe, page 37.....

by your definition, everything listed in the index is a "front page article"....

There is a full paragraph on the first page. I know you don't understand the concept of a paragraph, but it's more than just a blurb directing you elsewhere. Face it - your accusation of the NYT is wrong. You know it was wrong, but will not admit your error. You are losing credibility as you attempt to rationalize your position on this argument.

is that blurb a part of the actual article?...IS THE ARTICLE CONTINUED ON PAGE 37?......or is it just a mention?....

is the full article on page 37?....
does the actual article start on page 37?....

cause if it doesn`t...if the article starts on the front page and continues on page 37,then you have a point...if the entire article is on page 37,then that`s where the article IS?.....(truly disturbing:shrug: )

capiece?

please answer...

It certainly appears as though the article begins on the front page. But even if it doesn't - if that full paragraph + is just a summary then it becomes it's own front page artice. That would make O'Reilly's claim completely false. Either way, this "buried" notion is ridiculous. The story is clearly addressed and is either summarized or begins on the front page.

As we all know, it didn't even become much of a story anyway - despite the weekend TV hype.

yeah,right...certainly nothing as important as another gitmo story.....or something on violin repairmen....

this is kind like the old debate on what the meaning of "is" is.....

see,"continued" actualy means continued......

and,"inside" means...oh m`god...it actually means the article is INSIDE...

ON PAGE 37.....

doh!!!

So up above it's said Dem's not good at fighting terror. What terror? And why would we say Reb's are any better.

You are really losing me here. There's a full paragraph covering the story on the front page. That paragraph is either the beginning of an article, or an article in of itself summarizing the events. Every major newspaper in the country treats a front page story this exact way. Give it up, man. Your argument has no legs whatsoever.

Heading on front page + full paragraph on front page is anything but buried. Just let it go. You are embarrassing yourself.
