Ending to Texas game

See this shit all the freaking time now, it's like these kids know the spread and want to make sure they cover. Who knows, maybe they're betting on themselves (would it shock you?!?!)
UCLA was down I believe 3 @ Washington last week and didn't shoot until the buzzard as well and they had plenty of open looks (spread was 4).
I just don't understand why he killed the clock... either pull the trigger for 3 or drive to the hoop :shrug:
