so sad...

There millions of these children all across our nation.

In the spring and summer I hear their conversations and it just makes me want to cry.

At some point in time our educators will have to stop passing these children along in the system.

Sure hope this current generation of 25-45 year olds can find some solutions and evoke the necessary changes to make sure the youth of America is prepared for life.

These same uneducated children will be a cog in the system and a breakdown of gigantic magnitude is going to occur.

Best of luck.

Is it really that surprising? I feel for the teacher. I deal with adults that make me shake my head in disbelief.

EXACTLY!!!

This is nothing new at all. I love when it is portrayed as a new phenomenon.

NOTE: I had to look up how to spell "phenomenon" :0008

I had a vocabulary word in 6th grade that caused my teacher problems. When it came to Friday and test time she called out the word, jay-a-lay. I thought to myself as a smart assed 11 year old, WTF?? I asked her to repeat, and she said again, jay-a-lay!

I tried to remember the words, and studied over the others on my test... Gridiron, basketball, soccer, and a few other sports themed vocab words. Then, it came to me!!

Jay-a-lay was her misguided way of saying jai alai!! Ahh, a Kentucky education, lol!!

Ps. Her name was Evantha :scared :scared
