no need dtb

Of course there is no need. It's pretty common knowledge that Jewish people vote overwhelmingly democratic. He and I discussed this 2 years ago or so with plenty of documentation(similar to that provided by Wayne in this thread). I guess he 'forgot.' Again.

What I want to know is why he leaves them off the list every time when he goes on and on about the blacks, gays and poor voting overwhelmingly democratic.

Republicans corner the market with the redneck, homophobe, religious nut, racist, abortion clinic bomber vote. Who cares? That's the way it is.

WTF makes *your* groups any different than the ones I mentioned? Each party has their groups that will vote for them in droves. That's what happens.

But it seems that Wayne is the only one that harps on it, Ad Nauseum.

DTB, first off I never voted for Studds he was not even from my district. Apparently the people of his district like him. I am not even a Democrat. I will vote Democrat for every seat imaginable if that is the only way to stop the insanity of Iraq.

if hastert knew he should step down as speaker....however i also heard that some dems also knew.

lol- they had a panel on the news yesterday (guess the station) where several guests were outraged because of the timing of this news, right before the mid-terms.

No mention at all that at least a half dozen republicans have known about this for one to two years. No mention that the reason they hung on this long is to try to get through the mid-terms, while all the while kids are being IM'd by 54 year old gay men asking if they're horny.

Every day, more pages are telling their story. It could have been stopped a long time ago and these idiotic 'guests' would have nothing to talk about.

But no. 'God save that seat' prevailed.

Hilarious that party/admin apologists have no problem with repubs holding on to the info, but are pissed about the timing....you couldn't make this shit up.

You proved my point!!!

You proved my point!!!

Dogs that bark,

See here we go, I take a stand against a group that is trying to impose thier moralistic views on the rest of America and then all of a sudden i get accused of being compassionate towards terrorists or gardenweasel (which is an appropriate name for a Republican right now) calls me a degenerate gambler. This is the same crap that you come back with with someone is anti-Bush...if your anti-bush, your anti-military.....that kind of idiotic logic doesnt fly anymore and it becomes more ridiculous the more you use it.

If you want to comment on my point then i would love to hear both your thoughts. I dont believe ANY segment of america should impose their morals and values on the rest of us...thats it. If i choose to be a degenrate gambler then that is my choice ..right? Do i really need the christian right to protect me from myself. If thats the case and they choose to be the protectors of the weak and naive, then why dont they take the same stand for individuals who die every day from cancer they incurred while smoking 3 packs a day, why dont they make a stand for all the individuals who die from alcohol or for somebody drunk and behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Ill just ask both you guys straight up, do you believe that in this country any group of politicians or any other entity you can think of, should have the power to decide for all of us what is morally right or wrong? a yes or no on this point only would be more then welcome so maybe you all can educate us on the republican agenda and why we just dont get it.

you guys should take it easy on dtb....some of you are acting like he is a spokesman for the republican party.

i'll tell you what is also turning me off is this gotcha mentality that is permeating in wash. & in the media. i found it disgusting during the clinton fiasco & i find it distasteful now.

How about the 'gotcha mentality' 8 years after it happens, Al?

I may have missed it, but I haven't seen your protests about Clinton being mentioned non-stop.

Sorry, but I doubt that you found it 'disgusting' 8 years ago and that the non-stop references are no problem now.

Something has to give. :SIB

don't understand what you're saying ?

the gotcha mentality i'm talking about is concerning the media & in washington...i'm not talking about what is taking place on a political forum like this...

why do you doubt it.

i was a big clinton supporter when he was president...voted for him twice. i thought it wasn't good for the country what the republicans were doing to him....and in hindsight it may have hindered us getting bin laden.
