Maybe ESPN and Chicago will blame the real scapegoat this time.

Alex Gonzalez for the error that really opened the flood gates.

Bartman did what 99 out of 100 fans would have done.

Gonzalez did what 1 out of 100 shortstops would have done.

Or Mark Prior for giving up 5 runs proceeding. If my memory serves me right, they were up 3-0 at the time, right?

Can't believe that in a game where you were leading you blame 1 play that didn't cause your team to give up ANY HITS,RUNS, ERROS lol

Gonzalez did what 1 out of 100 shortstops would have done.

Now he just hits into clutch double plays

I'm very interested in watching this :00hour

OTL did a thing on the guy who was right next to Bartman, and he looked like he was trying to reach for it as well. The interview is pretty sweet. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this guy would be dead if he would've done what he said he would've done had it been him who interfered lol

kegray said it best. Just like Cardinals fans curse Don Denkinger when Jack Clark dropped the easiest of foul pops the play afterwards.

On the course!
Bucs? Do you ever feel like Bartman?

I mean, you're just trying to do your thing, and the whole city keeps trying to drum you outta town?

I'm not shocked you'd compare yourself to these Cubs fans. You, after all, are a piece of shit, think you know everything, and are a life long loser.

I find it ironic that he has turned down $100,000's of dollars and yet the guy who did catch the ball sold it for over $100,000.

I imagine they will show the classy Cubs fan who throws the first beer and still blames the guy. I seen him on T.V. a few years ago and he still blames the guy. How he wasn't arrested or escorted out is beyond me.

What they should talk about is how horrible the cubs are at signing free agents, especially ones who can't hit a curveball or catch a ball. SORIANO

Keep blaming a guy who was one of many trying to catch the ball and a goat instead.

Famous words of a Cubs fan is wait till next year

Pretty good documentary

Love the Buckner stuff. That guy went through hell. Love how the piece of shit Bob Stanley basically throws him under the bus. I guess he forgot about his wild pitch.

The attormey who says "do you know what you just did?" then tries to hand him a business card. Typical.

Just shows how fans are out of control and have no life if you take it that serious.

To even blame this guy is beyond comprehension.

Gonzalez walks away without a glitch. Just like Durham which I had forgotten about.

Media piling on should be ashamed as well. Shocking :0002

Stay classy Chicago Cub fans.

After seeing this I hope you never win a World Series in my lifetime.

Karma's a Bitch!

How about the local media releasing where he works and lives. No matter what happened, why? What the fuck good could have possibly come out of that?

Or how about the fan who was talking shit, the security told him to go back to his seat, he said no and kept running his mouth like he was gonna kick someones ass, then the security said "ok well you're out of here." Then he said "Ok, ill go back to my seat." Security says, "no you're out of here." - What a tool job.

I love my teams, but I can't believe take sports so serious that they're willing to physically fight, vandalize, be destructive.

Happens alot more often than not.

This guys life was basically ruined all because he went after a foul ball that may or may not have been caught. Many would have done the same thing.

To even think that changed the whole game shows how idiotic some really are.

:

i couldnt beleive when they showed stanley interiew after the game. he instantly said, "i dunno ground ball right to first base, went through his legs, shoulda had it"

wtf you just had a terrible game changing wild pitch

absolutley no respect for him man. he gave up tying run with a much worse error. he is paid to throw strikes and fuckin almost hit a bystander. buckner was paid to hit the ball, and occaisionally field a ball. i cant stand when pitchers cant throw strikes, almost as bad as when a wide receiver cant catch a ball. paid millions to do one thing, and you fawk it up.....

i am done venting i feel better. i was pissed when i watched all of how it went down behind the scenes.

i think it really did some justice to bartman and buckner tho, allowing fans to see the real story of how each team really crumbled in crunch time, and really had nothing to do with either of the two plays.

bartman more then buckner. ya if buckner fields that clean you never know what happens in the 10th, but bartman

after the bartman incident, the cubs still had a 3-0 lead, and 5 outs remaining. Gonzalez at SS really fawked up more then anyone for the cubs...

ok i am done

Buckner will never be remembered for an outstanding and long career he had. It will always be for the ground ball which was only 1/100 of that series.

What happened to Bartman was a disgrace..

They said it best in the end.

It is not up to Chicago to forgive Bartman. It will be up to Bartman to forgive Chicago for what they did to him.
