Manziel was kicked out of Manning Passing Academy when he reported after noon on Saturday. The reason? A Friday night run to party in NOLA. Archie gave him the axe personally.

The best part, Chris Mortenson of ESPN broke a story that Manziel was late due to illness. The reason for the attempted cover-up is obvious.

As are most great playmakers. It's just that most of them haven't done what he's done at his age. I hate the Aggies more than any other school but the kid takes heat for absolute bs. He's young, having fun and saying F U to anyone who doesn't like it.

I hate a&m as well, but I gotta disagree with you about Manziel. The kind of stuff he pulls is not "BS". He's immature, arrogant, has no class and is completely full of himself. Note that the other recent Heisman winners did not coduct themselves the way Manziel does. His kind of behavior is going to catch up to him eventually, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

Because they were prepping for nfl camps. The difference between a frosh and a senior is huge.

I agree. However, Manziel's family has money and he's always had a silver spoon in his mouth. He drives a Mercedes around the A&M campus. His troubles go back to high school as well. He had run-in's with teachers, other kids, and was arrested for shoplifting while in HS, then you add on all of the shenanigans he's pulled since he's been in college. He's a product of how he was raised by his parents and there doesn't seem to be a lot of humility, respect or accountability with this kid.

You're closer to the situation than I am, but it seems that he's been fine since the bar fight. Everything else that he's done since hasn't been a big deal to me.

I bet you he doesn't pay his credit card bills on time either. Young lad should realize what that is doing to his credit score.

his overall yardage last year was over 5,000

not even the great cam newton reached that one

when they beat Alabama early could be Heisman #2

You and I chatted about him last year, all his off-field stuff from HS and what others were saying in the Ath. Dept at A&M. You nailed it here and have done so in all of your replies in this thread. You are spot on! The guy is a punk and I hope they end up on the losing end more than people think!

We'll see. Beating Bama isn't a sure thing. It's tough to beat Saban two times in a row. A&M caught a lot of teams by surprise last year and I think they may have a bit of a drop off this year. They lost a key All America OL in Joekel and their top three leaders in tackles for loss on defense. Also, SEC coordinators have a years worth of film to figure out Manziel and the A&M offense.

It happens in sports all the time when teams fly under the radar, then you win some big games.....all of a sudden you have a target on your back. It's like when you win the championship, the next year everyone wants to say they beat the champs! This will be the case this year, A&M will lose 2 or 3 games......games they shouldnt lose probably but teams get up for them and knock them off!

Not sure how A&M exactly snuck up on people last year. They were a double digit favorite 7 times last season, favorites in 3 other games.

But perhaps they caught people off guard. I?m sure the games against Missouri, Auburn, Miss State, Oklohoma and Arkansas would have been closer if those teams took A&M seriously.
