Saban will earn his keep now if he doesn't go to the NY Giants....LSU has very close if not equal talent as Bama...Plus Hermann is one of the top recuiters around...If they get him will be a nice hire....

With the clusterfuck that went on at Texas before Charlie found out, the President of Texas is basically giving Charlie another year to prove his worth since he's had just 3 years and a lot of folks came to bat for Charlie.

Such a mess, college football is when it comes to keeping and firing coaches!!

I've never seen such bad media coverage and Athletic Administration decisions made behind closed doors getting out to the public in all my years watching sports. Last year's clusterfuck for @ LSU w/Alleva & Miles, this year with all the talk surrounding Herrman and Charlie Strong, along with Jimbo Fisher.

Any AD that leaks out info or part of their admin leaks out info needs to be fired immediately and not allowed to get back into the field they are in at the collegiate level.

Sumbitches should have their guaranteed contracts also ruled as invalid so they don't get paid past the day they get fired for violating the code of ethics and/or confidentiality/just cause rules in the contract.

Ed Orgeron will be hired

Ed Orgeron will be hired as the full-time head coach of the LSU Tigers

Ed Orgeron is no longer the interim coach at LSU. He?s now the head coach, formally taking over for Les Miles, per LSU sources.

The school?s two final considerations were O and Houston?s Tom Herman, who?s considered Texas? top candidate. LSU also reached out to Florida State?s Jimbo Fisher.
Herman's agents informed LSU late Friday that the coach would meet with Texas, sources told SB Nation. LSU officials wanted to meet with Herman ?officially,? but did not want to engage in a more protracted hiring process.

An official announcement is planned for Saturday.

What a clusterfuck situation to be named Head Coach at!! LSU & Texas. Both dumpster fire situations with their current administrations!!

Why would a coach want to go to either program when they've already been successful? If I were Herman I'd stay at Houston just as Jimbo's staying at Florida St. Jimbo also has a domestic situation he's trying to keep in focus so that his kids are finishing school with their friends, etc.

I like Coach "O" as a coordinator but not as a Head Coach, he'll definitely need to lean on having good coordinators, because we all know, if you don't have talent, you can be the best coach x's and o's in the world, but knowing x's and o's only goes so far in winning games. You have to have a well coordinated staff, talent and win the games you are supposed to win and win at home!!

GL to coach "O". 2nd time is the charm and he's got a lot of cajun backers in Baton Rouge, but as long as Alleva is there, it's going to be a clusterfuck program!

That's how they get market share and TV ratings. Be the first to break the story!!

ESPN has been a dumpster fire as well. Letting Chris Berman go, treating John Saunders like crap, not re-newing Keyshawn, Tommy Jackson and Ray Lewis because of their strong stances on certain areas ESPN doesn't like being commented on.

They declined renewing Colin Cowherd's show, FOX gives Cowherd more money and his ratings are down, wonder why? Money fucks up someone's MOJO dammit!! LOL

ESPN has a ton of money, but one of these days, they are going to rue the day they hungered for more power!!

Now Herman reported agreeing to deal with Texas.

All this shit makes me wanna puke.

Why can't they just play the games and administrators keep their nose out of people's business??

Fuckingincredible!! Only in America!
