WoW, that would be a tough pill to swallow for the buckeyes. McMullen has never shown any the flash that he was recruited for coming out of high school, the drop off is quite severe and if you toss in the inability of the buckeye's to establish a run offense this year the game all of a sudden becomes quite competitive. I imagine Tressel will go with McMullen since his only other options are Zwick from Massillon (good passer, but has become a weight lifting freak, starting to bulk up like the qb FSU had a few years ago, cant recall his name) and Tony Smith who is more of a athlete than a pure passer. Krenzel is one of those guys that just wins no matter how ugly it looks.

Tressel said in his presser that Krenzel is day to day and that McMullen will start if he can't go.

Some Bucks fans seem to think that McMullen is a better passer and will help the offense since they don't have a running game this year.

McMullen very well could be a better passer but if I was a Buckeye fan (and I am not) there would be no way in hell that I would want McMullen to play instead of Krenzel, Krenzel just flat out wins!! McMullen comes out a high school program in Granville that is not a big player in Ohio High School Football and most would say that the level of competition that he faced was weaker than most big time school Qb's thus he was a big fish in a small pond until he got to OSU where his progress up the ladder stalled after one start.

If krenzel doesn't play the buckeyes could be in trouble!!!!!!!

They obviously haven't been able to establish a running game. What are they avg like 2.9 yds a carry

BG is no joke...................especially the QB he is on a mission this year to show he is one of the elite in the country!!!!!!!

They would be stupid not to blitz mcmullen all day long......... and please please no zwick.................he hasn't thrown a decent pass since is last game of high school!!!!!!!

MC the guy for fl st was dan kendra..hell he got so big they moved him to fullback!!!!!! Yea thats it put zwick there!!!

GL on your plays

FYI most Buckeye "insiders" feel that Krenzel will play and that his missing practice is more of a precautionary thing.

Fatman,

Yeah thats the guy Kendra, he had hurt his leg and began to pump iron and got huge. I saw Zwick last summer for the first time in two years and the guy is turning into a weight lifting freak.

Just a little krenzle update.............................take it for what it's worth!!!!

He strained the ligament in his right elbow...................they are afraid that throwing on it now could injure it more............... but they are really high on mcmullen!!!!!! Much better passer(so they say) but not the athelete krenzle is!!!! They don't want to risk krenzle for the rest of the year.............on BG...............man does that have let down written all over it!!!!!:nono:

Got that info passed along by friends w/ friends assoc w/ the team:shrug:
