Showing some dog fighting and will probably show this all day. Anyone who is into this kinda crap needs their head examine. Looks like Vick is gonna be toast. Watching two dogs bite each others neck  i'm trying to figure out where is the trill. This is nasty and its the same kind of fight every match. Its not like there are uppercuts, fients etc.. I just don't get it. In my opinion I think it would be nice if the dogs would turn on the crowd.

REPORT: VICK BET ON DOG FIGHTS

REPORT: VICK BET ON DOG FIGHTS

Associated Press

Accused by informant

May 28, 2007 -- Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was at a dog fight in 2000 and is "one of the heavyweights" in the sport, ESPN reported.

The network yesterday cited a police informant whom a dog-fighting investigator called "extremely reliable."

"That's who bets a large dollar," the informant said on the show "Outside the Lines."

"And they have the money to bet large money. As I'm talking about large money, 30 to 40 thousand, even higher. He's one of the heavyweights."

When asked how he knows Vick bets that amount, the informant said, "because I've seen it."

The informant said his dog beat Vick's dog in 2000, the year before Vick was chosen by the Falcons with the first overall pick in the NFL draft.

Investigator David Hunt said information from the informant has "resulted in the arrest of several individuals over the past few years, numerous search warrants, as well as convictions."

Surry County (Va.) Commonwealth attorney Gerald Poindexter said Friday he is confident charges will be brought in the investigation of a possible dog-fighting operation at a house then owned by Vick. Dog fighting is a felony in Virginia.

Police raided the rural home April 25 as part of a drug investigation. They seized 66 dogs, 55 of them pit bulls, and equipment that could be associated with dog fighting.

Vick has said he let a cousin, Davon Boddie, live at the house, and he didn't know a large kennel on the property could be involved in criminal activity.

I think that was before he was an informant. This was while vick was still in college but he was betting 5 g's at least on his dog

Saw this report last night. They showed some pretty bad clips of fighting. Apparently there are many NFL guys wrapped up in this. Hopefully, Vick gets nabbed and is forced to name some of the others.

On the course!
But we LOVE boxing, and MMA, right?

And don't give me the, "but these are poor animals" crap, either.

Some people can justify watching two guys beat the shit out of each other, but are appalled when dogs are fighting?

There is a difference between 2 human beings agreeing to fight each other and 2 wild crazy dogs thrown in a fight for their lives

i knew someone was gonna say this but i wasn't sure who. I just dont get the trill yyz. Go take a peek at one of those fights. Its like two chicks fighting. The same move every time. One bites the others neck. Kinda like when chicks grab each others hair. No kicks to the doggie nuts, nothing. Just the neck bite.

I don't get the thrill either, Sponge. But that's not for me to decide. I don't get the thrill over drinking 15 beers in an evening. No matter how hard a drinker explained it to me......I still "wouldn't get it".

Plenty of people don't "get" why we wager on sports. I'm sure that's why the lot of these afleets can't unserstand why the rest of the world has an issue with dog fighting.

When these two dogs are put in a pen together, do they have to fight? They surely don't understand human threats of, "Fight, or I'll kill ya!"

Why don't they just sniff each others ass?

Pro boxers are the dogs. You guys say they "chose" to fight, but did they really? Most of these guys are the lowest common denominator, and are fighting for survival.........They had no choice, just like those poor animals. Boxers all have "owners", too.

Above the Clouds....
Pro boxers fight for a purse and recognition in their sport. They can quit anytime. Dogs fight for a dish of food and the owners hope they are healthy enough to fight the next day. It's sad and happens more than people think.

Again, it's still what each animal was bred to do.

I do have to agree with you on that point. Mike Tyson was raied 30 miles south of here and he was raised to fight. Everyone knows what happened when they turned him loose.

That's what I'm saying. Just like Vick. He was bred to "ball", and that's pretty much it. Look at him and his lil brutha.......

So, you take these two "citizens" out of their environments, and all hell breaks loose!

So, the pitbull is off his leash and gets his jaws around little KoKo's neck, and snaps it. He don't know any better. To him.....The fighting pit, and the neighbor's yard are the same thing, and a dog is a dog.

Mike wants to fuk a bitch, she better give it up!

"Rape"? WTF you talkin' bout Willis?

I guess that is the reason we watch hockey and car races. I think people are so appalled by the whole thing is that it is associated with 3rd world countries when it is right in our backyard.
