Lets start in Houston where we thought the Texans would be good this year. Wait dont we think that every year? Now the Texans are a 9 pt favorite? Dont get me wrong Jamarcus Russell might be the worst QB in the league but one thing he can do is run and for that matter so can Mcfadden, what cant the Texans do? Yep you got it, they cant stop the run and guess what, the Raiders can play a little defense, enough to cover this spread. Take the 9 points here.
Baltimore is going to New England and after the Pats beat the Falcons last week everyone is in love with Brady and co. again. Now the Pats are 2-1 but realistically should be 1-2 after the Bills week 1 early Christmas gift. Pats defense is still a big question mark for me but Ill give them credit with all the injuries and containing a high powered Falcons offense last week. I see a defensive battle here, one that will stay well below the 44.5 point posted total.
Buffalo goes to Miami where Chad Pennington is done for the year and Henne makes his first start. So the Dolphins open up as a dog at home vs a bad Bills team? The game is now a pk at most places which is absolutely the right line here. Lynch wont be a factor for the Bills in his return and Henne unlike Pennington can do more than just manage the game. Historically these two teams split and I dont see the Fins going to Buffalo on Nov 29th and winning so, go with Miami outright here.
Week 4 looks like a pretty crappy week if you ask me but if you play the above plays your sticker will be pecked up by Sunday evening and you will want more of the BigGay one.
