Experience with AON / Coldwell Banker Home Warranty

Purchased a house a couple months back and am now running into some problems with my central air conditioning. AON home warranty is saying they will not cover any of it even though I paid for the central air home warranty part. Any ideas?

Yeah I am calling my selling agent. Just wondering if anyone else had anything like this happen and anyway I can possibly get them to pony up at least some of the money.

without reading the contract it's hard to give you a proper answer....

i have a few home warranty contracts, all with american home shield......& anytime there is a problem with the a/c they send out a local repairman.

did they say why they're not covering the a/c or sending out a local to fix the problem ? and ask them if they can put the reason why they're not honoring the contract in writing...

if after speaking to the title company or the company that sold you this contract, i would start telling everybody involved that you are going to call the attorney general's office because of poor service....

don't let this company off the hook...

They are basically saying that all fixes that need to be done would be upgrades so they are not covered. They also say that one pipe is broken because it froze and cracked. However I was here when the local repairman was talking to them and the adjuster kept asking questions for every possibility and once he heard something he liked he would say ok, then its denied. There was no way to tell if the pipe actually froze or not. Also they made the local repair come out a 2nd time and they say they will not pay for that even though I would have never called them back, but they made them come out. I just don't know what to do? I have already put a couple of claims in with this company and its always a back and forth with them. I could just really use the repairs to be done under them.
