EXPOS/MARLINS Under 8 -105 - I cashed a ticket on the Under in this matchup last night, and I am coming back with it again tonight. Colon has pitched very well since coming to Montreal, going 9-3 with a 2.86 ERA and a fine 1.24 WHIP. He has now allowed 3 runs or less in 8 of his last 10 starts, and he allowed only 4 earned runs in each of the other 2 efforts. He was absolutely dominating in his only start vs. Florida, allowing only 1 unearned run and 2 hits with 9 strikeouts in a Complete Game 4-1 victory. Beckett has had some blister problems this year, but he has been effective when he has taken the mound. Like Colon, Beckett has also allowed 3 runs or less in 8 of his last 10 starts. The difference is that Beckett has not been going as deep into his games, but the word is that the Marlins will have Michael Tejera waiting in the wings tonight as the first man out of the bullpen. Tejera is ideally suited for the long relief role, as he has excellent stuff, but does not yet have the stamina to go more than 6 innings effectively.
