NEW YORK METS -120 ? The Expos were embarrassed over the weekend as they were swept in Florida by a Marlins team that had supposedly given up on the season. In fact, Montreal has now lost 6 of their last 7 games, with their only win during this stretch being a Complete Game victory by their ace, Bartolo Colon. This is not exactly what the Expos had in mind when they went after Colon! Montreal?s Achilles Heel this season has been their inability to win on the road, where they are just 19-32. Granted, Ohka has been a pleasant surprise with his 8-4 record and 3.31 ERA. But even he is under .500 on the road, at 2-3, and he was touched up for 4 earned runs and 8 Men on Base while lasting only 3 innings in his last start, which was against these Mets. The New Yorkers are finally showing signs of a pulse, as they have moved one game ahead of the Expos into 2nd place in the NL East, and they are currently only 6 games behind the Giants in the Wild Card race. Trachsel has pitched better than his 6-7 record, as he has a fine 3.87 ERA in 17 starts. He has also pitched well in his 2 starts vs. Montreal this season, allowing a total of 4 earned runs in 10.2 innings.
