Philly/Halladay (-1) (-160) 240.00 ----> 150.00

Halladay coughed up the win earlier last week in the 9th inning to Zona. First time he has ever done this. He always has the eye of the tiger but should have more so now.

Philly could win more than 105 games this season. Awesome. Think this will be one of them. Should play extra focused for the Doc.

Philly, Milwaukee and Atlanta all playing very well right now. Not going with Atlanta today, they could lose to Zona and a bit too pricey.

Best of luck to all Jackers today!! :0008 :toast:

Milwaukee (-125) 75.00 ----> 60.00

Oh the Heck With It

Oh the Heck With It

Atlanta (-1) (--113) 67.80 ----> 60.00

Smaller plays on Mil and Atl just cause I like how they are playing. Very tempted to add to that Philly bet, it just seems like one of those spots where the stars align. But (sigh) this is baseball, one must remember, where anything can and does happen. :rolleyes:

Still ruminating.

Phillies ace Roy Halladay can say that he owes at least some of his success to Washington. Halladay, the National League's reigning Cy Young Award winner, will go into Sunday's series finale with a 6-0 record and a 1.76 ERA against the Nationals since coming to Philadelphia.

Those six victories represent a sixth of his win total since joining the Phillies, and he's split them evenly between his two seasons. Halladay is 3-0 with a 3.13 ERA in three starts against Washington this year, and he's completed seven innings six times in six tries against the Nationals.

Halladay pitched a complete game and lost in his most recent outing, but he had won four straight decisions prior to that start. The Nationals will counter with right-hander Chien-Ming Wang in Sunday's finale, and he'll be hoping to continue a modest return to form.

Wang, who missed much of the last three seasons due to injury issues, has won two straight starts. The 31-year-old won 19 games in back-to-back seasons before running into injury problems, and he's completed at least six innings in back-to-back starts against the Cubs and Reds.

Washington scored eight runs to win in Friday's series opener, but the Phillies answered with a 5-0 victory on Saturday. Philadelphia, which owns a 7 1/2-game lead over Atlanta in the NL East, has won 14 of its last 16 series, a streak it can extend with a victory on Sunday.

Worth noting

? Philadelphia is 22-13 all time at Nationals Park and has won eight of the first 11 series played there between these two teams.

? The Phillies have won eight straight series on the road and have compiled a 20-6 record away from home over that span. Philadelphia's last road series loss happened in mid-June at Seattle.

? The Nationals are 11-8 in their last 19 games.

Adding:

Philly/Halladay (-1) (-160) 160.00 ----> 100.00

GO PHILLIES! GO DOC! :00hour :toast:
