Josh,

it proves to me Trayvon is wrong, if he wasn't trying to hide anything wouldn't he just show Zimmerman what he had in his hands and move on, my first thought would be he was a thief chased him down too, Zimmerman did nothing wrong, Trayvon on the other hand ran away...he got what he deserved, justifiable homicide

Josh, I'm not going to pretend to know what happened here and I'm not taking sides but I have had my home broken into and several of the homes in my neighborhood had the same thing happen.

I don't think 911 told him not to follow, she said they didn't need him to follow. Do you know he confronted Trayvon or just followed him so he couldn't get away before the police got there? Maybe there is info out where he started something and I just haven't read it. I don't have a problem with him following someone in light of what had happened in his neighborhood.

Maybe my home being broken into and my kids being scared makes me think differently about it. I would do the same, just not with a gun.

And if that had been your child and a grown man was following him, what would you have wanted your child to do?

I remember being a little shit and thought a guy was following me as I walked back home from the store. You know what I did. I ran. I was scared.

Zimmerman was on the phone with the police and they were on the way. He had done his job. Why he followed him? I don't know, but I do know that his actions lead directly to the death of a 17 year old child.

This logic is fucking insane. Does this guy being black really cloud your head this much?

This simply hurts my head. How does one stand their ground while they are chasing someone.

Two things. One, I have told me kids to run if they're in that situation and to also scream the whole time they're doing it. Second, when I was 17 I was dumb enough and thought I was tough enough that I wouldn't have run.

You don't think he followed him so that there was no chance of Trayvon getting away?

Have you ever had your home broken into? If you haven't then I can tell you it's a weird feeling and changes a lot of things. I'm very protective of my kids. I've yelled at people driving too fast down my street and I've also gotten in my car and chased after a couple of kids that speed down it all of the time. They weren't very lucky. I wrote down their license plate number, went home and looked it up in my background check site that I use for work and went to speak with their parents.

Like I said, I don't know what happened and I don't think he should have been carrying a gun but I think there's more to the story than we know.

Zimmerman lives in the neighborhood, Trayvon didn't, he was a drug dealer and possible thief, Zimmerman did right chasing him down to find out what he was up too, to me he did absolutely nothing wrong, Trayvon attacked him not the other way around, Zimmerman was protecting himself and justifiably shot him in my opinion

Flip the script. Trayvon chases down Zimmerman and they get into a fight, Trayvon starts to lose the fight so he shoots an kills Zimmerman. Still think he should get off?

Obviously he didn't do the right thing. Was there drugs involved? Trayvon ran away and he followed when he didn't need to. Now weather or not shooting him was justifiable is a different story. People who chase or confront people are asking for it.

Zimmerman deserves to go to jail, he had numerous chances to let it go- 1. When the 911 operator told him he didn't need to go after the kid 2. When the kid ran

He instigated the fight- it never would have happened had he left the kid alone.

Bottom line is if Trayvon had nothing to hide he'd be alive. Why didn't he just go home ? If Zimmerman was profiling him why didn't the kid b-line home ? The kid was up to no good. He wasn't scared of the cracka. He wanted some action that night...Bottom line again they had break ins in the neighborhood. Black or White. He had a dark hoodie on it was pouring rain and this kid instead of walking the main road to his dads was wandering around in between buildings acting looking suspicious to anyone.

If you lived in a gated community and was recently appointment the watchman..OF COURSE YOU WOULD FOLLOW. Knowing you have had recent break ins. This never had to end with the kid dead. As a matter of fact why wasnt the 17 yr old kid scared at all ?

What you all fail to realize is Rick Scott recently had the laws changed in Florida to support gun owners and stand your ground law. How come the local cops I know black and white all have said Zimmerman had every right to shoot him.

Whatever I'm done.:0corn
