IMO you do anything that you can to avoid a conflict, which neither man apparently did. It appears that one would be alive, and the other would have his life back if they both did more to avoid what happened. But the evidence (as I understand it) could lead to nothing but an acquittal if we are to consider this a fair trial.
Let me be clear. I believe Zimmerman should have been found not guilty and the correct verdict was given based on the law and the facts of the case.
That does not mean that I think Zimmerman did everything he could to avoid a young person losing his life. I think Zimmerman has some culpability in the death of Trayvon Martin. I think TM has some culpability in the death of TM.
At the end of this justice was served, as it should be, but a young man is still dead and two families have to find a way to pick up the pieces.
Nobody won here, I'm just happy the court system got one right.

Glad the justice system worked like its supposed to, Zimmerman should write a book about reverse discrimination and get filthy rich, that is what the man deserves for the stress he has been under the last year and half
